Except that chart was written when you could sign 1st round picks to 6 year deals. You can't do that anymore. You get 4+1 deals. And they are a lot more restrictive on the money..

People need to stop using that chart because it's worthless now.

The top 10 talent isn't that much better than the next 10-20. The value system doesn't take account the yearly variation in talent. Correct me if I'm wrong. I think it was a win-win situation for both teams. Oakland needs a cr*p load of players. They're already 45mill in dead cap.

He hasn't met what our oline coach can do. If I was selected in the draft for a afce division team I would only want to be on the pats team. But that's in the present. I guess it wouldn't be as intimidating if Tom and bill wasn't there.

Players don't have a choice where they're drafted because players don't come from already wealthy families.

I know point values associated with picks is a popular thing. But I have to think Oakland has the chance to get two good players here, and they certainly need that. Let's see who they pick before we automatically assume they made the wrong choice.
