Random list? How about the 'other' choice.

hahahaha, is that you Tom?

No, but thanks!

Its just the truth. This team doesn't need, want, or consider these kind of players.
They need that guy who is smart, quick, smart, great ball skills, smart, great route runner, oh, and did I say smart? Someone who gets open quick, and can get some fast YAC. Can sight adjust quickly and take advantage of what the D shows him. Willing to run the tough routes across the middle, and in the flat, in safetyville. He's our kind of receiver.

That guy draws attention away from TE's and the Gaffney/Caldwells. And makes this offense tick.

I quite like Marvin Harrison. He gets open, catches most of what is thrown his way and has a good attitude. He's a bit old but otherwise I like him.

Definitely agree, football smarts is probably the 1st consideration for a potential Patriot.

Anquan boldin

I think Hines Ward would be the best fit for the pats though.

Marvin Harrison and Torry Holt. Best pure route runners in the game by far!

Ocho Cinco!!!!
i dont think hes the BEST necessarily but a guy i would like on our team for sure.

Growing up it was always andre rison tho...i dont even know why, he was always my favorite.

of the guys mentioned Tory Holt & Givens are the only ones with potentially the right attitude; the rest are scrap. Givens has his ACL injury to deal with and is still locked up in contract last I heard so why even bother listing.

That said; I think Holt, while the best on the list and a great wr; is too old to actually pursue. I would rather waste another #1 draft pick then continue to get older with no up side.

Strange list of choices.

Holt would be my choice anyways since he is probably beeen the best, most consistently productive WR in the game over the past 7 years. The only reason he doesn't get acclaimed as such is he isn't a self promoting team killing jack--- like Moss, TO, or whatever that guy in Cincinnati is calling himself these days.

Moss, T.O, ill even throw in branch just because of last years holdout....are team killers - i dont put chad johnson under that category unless im missing something, besides the smack talkin and touchdown dances.

i enjoy trash talking and i think most of you do to....makes the game more interesting and competitive and he knows that ...

Edit: that is a really weird list....
wheres harrison, johnson, branch, wayne ect....and for this boards sake, wheres chad jackson!!!

Does Ocho Cinco getting in a fight with his position coach at halftime of a playoff game because he wasn't getting enough touches count? How about if it is a playoff game that his team is winning at the half and one in which the offense had scored 3 of the 4 times it had the ball?

Chad Johnson happens to be funny at times and is a pleasant guy to the press while Moss and TO are always surly. As a result, Johnson gets a free pass from fans and the media for caring more about his dumb dances and his stats than winning games.
