Who had the worst performance in super bowl history regardless of if his team won or lost the big game?.

You may need to be at least 35 years old to answer this one as you young guys have not seen the past games unless you bought
a DVD or something..Who is the worst?

NOTE: I COULD NOT PUT REX IN THERE DUE TO SPACE LIMITATIONS SO IF YOU THINK ITS HIM,JUST ADD WITH A POST .. THANKS

David Woodley. Oh my god.

I'm only 28, but I can state with some confidence that Rex Grossman is the worst QB in Super Bowl history.

I believe you spelled Joe Kapp's name incorrectly on the poll.

as Pats Fans Tony Eason and Steve Grogan 'combination' should not be mentioned

Joe Kapp for The Vikings. The only time he was worse was when He Quartebacked for The Patriots. He was a complete fraud.

Not to be picky

1 it was joe kapp , not joe capp..

2 You forgot Rex Grossman

3 I cant vote for the combo Eason/Grogan.. Very hard to fault Grogan...

4 Feragamo had a decent game against the steelers

5 Drew Bledsoe and Jim Kelly have to be on that list

Of that group, its Woodly...

Eason got my vote:rocker: Maybe that's because his ineptitude hurt but gawd he was awful. Grossman has to be right up there, especially if you're a Bears fan.
**Grogan really shouldn't be there.

Why Just because we are pats fans we can say no wrong about the teams QB play in the past?

Please lets not be biased..Tony Eason with 0 completions in 6 attempts and then taken out of the game cause he looked so bad verifies his place among the worst,Patriots player or not

I think your misunderstanding the point... Its the combo of Eason and Grogan should not be lumped to gether... Grogan should not be mentioned, because he was in a no win situation.. Eason , of course lump him in there, he was scared... Grogan is a warrior, and did all he could, its a shame Ray Berry did not realize what it took to play the QB position..

Listen... we can all be homers and stand up for our team through thick and thin - but without question, the worst performance in the history of Super Bowls has to go to Tony Eason. The games only starting quarterback to ever get pulled from a Super Bowl without completing 1 pass (He went 0 for 6 officially).

Lets go over those numbers again for those that honestly want to debate the point:

Att: 6
Comp: ZERO

Heck, even David Woodley had a 76 yard TD pass. Joe Kapp threw for 183 yards and completed 16 passes (the astute will recognize that this is 16 more than Eason).

You can pass the buck by including poor Steve Grogan in with him for this poll, but I think to vote for anyone other than Eason is being a touch dishonest.

Throwing the QB of a losing team under a bus is easy.

I still think that Roethlisberger was perhaps one of the worst performers in a Super Bowl.

very well said
i agree with you

I was just coming on to post the same thing. His 22.6 passer rating was certainly worse than Rex's was yesterday.
