Drafting a WR early

Brady's a bit of a prima donna in that regard. Do other QB's get so precious about who's catching their passes?

Yeah, I mean, just think of all those WRs who sucked in New England because Brady was too much of a little ***** to throw them passes, who then went on to have huge success elsewhere.

If a guy is smart, hard working, and understands the offense, Brady has no qualms about throwing him the football. He pretty much trusted Hernandez and Gronkowski from day one. If you can't line up properly or run the right route half the time, he'll slowly phase you out, as he should. Once again, there isn't a single instance of a committed, talented receiver who didn't succeed in New England because Brady was a 'prima donna'. This kind of statement couldn't be more wrong.

Brady's a highly driven perfectionist, and he seems to bond more quickly and establish trust more quickly with other highly driven perfectionists. Branch, Moss, Welker, Hernandez and Gronk have very different personalities, but they're all not only very talented, they were all extremely committed and demanding.

What do you think of DeAndre Hopkins Mayo? They run a pretty complex offense at Clemson. Not sure if he can adapt to ours. Has certainly put up some impressive numbers. And, when he gets to the combine looks like he will be capable to put up an impressive workout.

He makes a lot of plays after plays breakdown and Boyd is improvising. Not sure that would translate well in New England.

I think a WR from a more traditional spread offense would have a better chance of working, say the WV WR.

I'll defer to Ochmed. Haven't watched enough of him.
