Yep, Schaub left his guy out to dry. To be honest, if the NFL wasn't out to protect receivers, I'd have expected a much more dangerous hit.

As happy as I am with that defensive performance we still got alot of breaks with drops and missed throws by Shaub. Football's a game of inches and couple plays here and there would totally change the game around. Nonetheless they've taken advantage of the breaks and are doing a great job on Andre and Foster, which is what you gotta do against Houston.

Excellent first half by the defense. They made the Texans earn what they got. Sloppy final three possessions by the offense. McDaniels should make some adjustments at halftime.

Looks like Talib will probably have a bruise on his hip. But I'd be surprised if he's not out there in the 2nd half.

Hope so. He has a previous hip tendon injury. Put him on IR before.

That was great defensive showing, but 3 three and outs in a row is NOT what I wanted to see. We really should have gotten at LEAST another FG in those 3 opportunities. I think the Pats, rather Brady, has to be more patient and get the short first down than the big gainer.

This is a team that can come back. We need more of the first quarter offense than the 2nd quarter.
