It's not his fault, Brady is the one out there no longer capable of thinking on his feet. It's sad to say, but he's no longer a guy I fell comfortable with at qb under crunch time like we think of Manning (Eli and Peyton), Brees, or big Ben

Peyton and crunch time were always a match made in heaven! God sometimes I really wish Welker makes that one catch just to shut everyone doubting Bradys clutching abilities

I still haven't gotten approved to get into the Seahags game day thread......What is this the KGB?:bricks:

Why do we always let alot of time run off the clock in a two minute drill. We had two timeouts but we were trying to get to cute. Use a f'kn timeout!!!

That's such a horse **** call, so everytime a quarterback throws it outta the endzone its intentional grounding? Gimme a ****** break never ever seen that.

How the Heck do the Pats walk off the field with NO Fing points there....!!!! If Branch didn't run the right route...CUT his old *****...Brady just did the same thing he did in the SB by throwing it down the middle of the field and getting the damned grounding call all over again.....Damn it he needs to be smarter....he knows the rules...At least three there should have been a lock....This will most likely come back to bite us in the a##....BB needs to stop trying to get too cute with the clock....get the points BB!!!! Alright time for another beer and on to the second half....LETS GO PATS!!!

Branch ran the correct route. What you ignored was the defensive holding on that play. Yes, Brady needs to be smarter, but Branch WOULD have been in the area had he not been held.

As for "getting too cute with the clock", you're making a big assumption that BB was the one who tried to get too cute. You ever stop to think it might have been McDaniels? Or even Brady? Brady is the one who should have called the T.O. after the 15 yard completion to Welker. He's on the field right next to the ref.. Instead, they try and hustle down and blow a ton of time..

You and everyone else need to put him and Teapot on ignore. Its annoying as hell to see these comments when you guys quote them.

I'm quoting this to give it more visibility in the hopes fewer people will quote the ***clowns. Responding to them gives them the reaction they want.

Positives

  1. The o-line have been giving Brady all day
  2. The return of Hernandez
  3. Chandler Jones
  4. Dennard replacing Arrington and he and McCourty shutting down the deep options the last two drives

Negatives

  1. Poor tackling
  2. Arrington
  3. Wasted opportunity on offense on last drive

McD is no good in a crunch time situation. He's proven it time and time again. What I don't understand is why Peyton Manning gets to call his own game but TB has to listen to McD moron.

Halftime stat check:

Hawks D average 258.6 YPG coming into today. Pats have 252 at the half

Brady: 21/30, 216. That gives him 2.5 times the yards Sanchez had today.

Welker 7/102.

Wilson: 9/12, 155

Lynch: 9/26

Pats only 36 yards rushing.

It is a little surprising we aren't running much. It is also surprising that the pigeons D is apparently Swiss cheese.

Brady should have ran that in....pass to Gronk was off and almost INT...

Lets hope the pass defense comes to play in the second half.

More Dennard PLZ ! :rocker:

Brady should have run, but with the misuse of the timeouts, if he did not get in, the half would have ended. I am okay with the pass attempt, even though it was late.

Personally, I'm confident based on how the D is doing something after those disasterous first two drives.

That is huge for the rest of the season if we finally found another capable starting CB.

what a disaster! After D stepped up, we mess up so bad on O.

I wonder if the Pats will be able to make adjustments to keep a "spy" on Wilson....this ****** was DEAD in the water several times but rolled out and NO ONE was even remotely around him. Pats really needed the points before the half there....I think BB too often tries to "out think" the competition and ends up out thinking himself....

Horrible QB play by Brady to end that half. He looked like a rookie!

Why is it McDaniels fault? The play to Gronk was the perfect call if Brady threw it when he should have. On the last play, it looks like Branch ran the wrong route.

That was all execution. Not play calling.

Mods why can't you ban this arse? This guy is constantly here to just stir **** up and is an obvious troll.

I still haven't gotten approved to get into the Seahags game day thread......What is this the KGB?:bricks:

Are you sure you're referring to the right board? We're wanting to ban people for expressing an opinion now?

Reading folks on Twitter just before the fumble muff, many were mentioning the Pats' many walking wounded. Welker, Gronk, Hernandez. Some pretty key folks hobbled.

Pats family, let's relax. The Pats are up and the offense is looking unstoppable. Furthermore, the defense settled down considerably and they're now playing well. I know the W isn't guaranteed, but it would appear that the Pats are still in the driver's seat in this one. Calm down.
