There is a reason nobody has faith. Do you realize the Jets haven't beat a team with a winning record in 2 years?
Same Old Jets, same Old LOLs!
Jets Insider.com Forums - View Single Post - Ohh I cant wait for people to eat there words.
there and their; buy and bye! There words? Where words?
His completion percentage is 5.8% lower than the next QB.************. I knew he was bad and all......but wow.
let's be realistic here, other than gronk, the pats talent level is no better than the jets. edelman = kurley welker = santonio woodhead = mcknight
their line has been decimated this year too.
difference is, the pats have brady. put sanchez on the pats and your team is worse off than the jets.
put brady on this jets team and they win 12 games easily.
i'll give you that loyd is better than stephen hill. but, hernandez = keller.
as for ridley, the only reason he is running all over the place is because defenses are focused purely on stopping brady. when the pats try to run, opposing defenses aren't prepared for it.
as i said, put sanchez on the pats, and the running game will be stopped in it's tracks. once defenses gear up for the pats run, ridley will make blair thomas look like walter payton.
Listen, i know that pats fans think that they have all-pros at every position, but that is not the case. put keller on the pats and he is just as good as hernandez.
everytime a WR or other "all pro" offensive player leaves the pats, they suck on other teams. (deion branch anyone?)
my point is, great QB's like brady will make the players around them great. without brady, the pats are just as crappy as the jets.
Pack it up, Lords and Ladies. I've just won the internet with this find:

I weep at the stupidity of ratkind.
Must be because I'm such a homer.
did any of those jets fans recall the pats going 11-5 when we lost brady for the season?
I was thinking about the Holmes and Revis injuries and what they might mean for the division, and I have a suspicion that these will ultimately be the gift that keeps on giving.
-I expect the Jets to tank this year, but the uncertainty of football means I cannot commit to to a number. I think they win between 5 and 9 games, with most likely 7. If they lose to the Colts next week, they could easily be 2-5 and it's over.
-The Jets were contenders to be .500 with Holmes and Revis and nothing better, but they'll certainly make some great excuses all off-season. The funny thing is, though, that their GM, coach, and owner will be the first to buy into the excuse that this should have been a great team. A couple of young players will like adequate since they are in big roles, and these dumb Jets fans (and dumb Jets coaches) will start betting big heads, as now they have Holmes and Revis coming back to go along with "stars" like Kerley and Hill.
-So next year, with their cap hell situation, I think they stick with Sanchez as his "last chance" to prove it. I bet the Jets get an easy schedule because of their putrid record ride a patchwork defense to 8 wins and miss the playoffs. But now they are stuck with Sanchez and Ryan again for another season, as they are "a team on the rise" that has apparently just gone through rebuilding (although they really haven't.) It will be a final "prove it" year for both of them, unless they are given another year.
So what does this mean? The excuses made for Revis and Holmes will probably keep Ryan and Sanchez in New York until at least 2014, as their predictable owner is a dumb fool who will read the hype and excuses. Couldn't be better news for Pats fans.
