Might as well have a thread for the injuries. Gronk missing two in a row..cause for concern? Anyone know why lloyd and hernandez sat out?

Reiss said he doesn't think it was anything serious and I haven't seen anyone else post anything eye opening.

I'd say this is a case of BB letting players he knows are up to speed rest their bodies a little and being cautious.

Knock on wood because compared to what is going on elsewhere out there - and no offense to Fletcher but - we have gone relatively unscathed. We're still missing a couple of significant parts, but lots of teams are having key players drop like flies just from practice to practice. I think Bill is just doing what he can given a 90 man roster to manage the workload as indicated (because of rehabs or dings or age) of his most important players not named Brady and Welker and Wilfork (because those guys are horses...again knocking on wood). We have an odd schedule to deal with over the next couple of weeks with 3 technically meaningless games to navigate in 10 days before the 10 days of preparation for the games than matter will commence.

BB said himself that having 3 games in 10 days is not normal and player safety is a major concern. He's probably just resting them now for the long grind ahead.
