McDaniels influence showing up early.

And Gost ruins it for everyone....

I really believe that Mallet has an elite arm. Who knows if he can put together the rest of the skills that make an NFL qb, but on pure passing he's not your average backup.

Agreed, a lot of potential imo

I knew he was going to miss the field goal he's not great on 50+ kicks.

At this point in his career the head doesn't match the arm.

Mallet is exactly what everyone said he would be during the draft.

Rocket Arm.... questionable decision maker and inconsistent.

That was his scouting report 100%, and it looks like he hasn't changed much.

Positives at the Half:

- Safeties look...average? Which is a lot better than last year.
- Good running game so far.
- Jones! He might be a bit further along than I thought. And I will definitely admit I wasn't fully in favour of drafting him.

Negatives:

- God, I hope Vollmer's healthy to start the season.
- That was an interesting..."tackle" by Kyle Arrington on Courtney Roby.
- Hightower needs to wrap up.

nice to see the triumphant return of run plays and screens. They'll be needed the way this O-line looks.

clearly the o-line we have in tonight stinks. Defense is playing good so far.

As for Mallett... he's way better than Canfield!

But still pretty bad.

Also, wonder what Dante's saying right now? Too bad it will never (and could never) be broadcast on TV...

They just showed 2 passes from Manning on ESPN and they looked wobbly and weak. Maybe he was trying to float them, I dunno, but they didnt have the zip we're used to from him.

Canfield been a disapointment. Chase has really stepped up.

Pherein, any young players on your side really strike you so far?

Interesting, the NFLN guys thought he looked good. Maybe those 2 were his weaker throws of the night
