John Harbaugh is a cry baby

Contended when the Saints scandal broke, that that issue would not be stand alone and somehow in every subsequent breath on the Saints the Patriots spygate shyt would become intertwined, and generally thought of as a more heinous offense.

It is what it is, and will not go away.. wish that 60 minutes would do a special on BB and he could use that venue to clear the air.. and forever put it to bed..

But coming out of Ravens none of this is surprising, the timing maybe, but consider the source and atmosphere..

One things for sure, you'd have a bunch of Steeler and Jet fans in front of their TV doing this for 60 minutes...

All this talk of asterisks. Sorry, Harbaugh, but the asterisk only exist in your mind. I am sure it is very lonely in there.

I keep hearing ESPN annnouncers repeatedly say they used the film in the second half of games. Any one with an ounce of intelligence knows that this was logistically impossible to do, but it is repeated over and over despite there not being any proof that it was being done. Same thing with the taping of practices. It was shown to be false but ESPN keeps repeating it.

How about a libel lawsuit against ESPN. Make them prove that the Patriots utilized the tapes in the same game. Prove that they taped opponents practices. This is the only way that ESPN will stop repeating false information.

I know this would never happen, but could you imagine the circus that would become.

He is entitled to his opinion and I agree that other have the same opinion.

But the timing is suspect and I have to think the Pats swiping of Hightower had something to do with him answering a question about the Patriots when he was asked about the Saints.

Whether Patriots fans like it or not, "spygate" is the best recent example Harbaugh can point to. Also, whether Patriots fans like it or not, all 3 of the SB wins are tainted in the minds of a lot of people. It's just the way it is.

I, for one, don't particularly care but, if people here are still bothered by it, remember that nothing new has come out about "spygate" for years, so it's very likely that you can change the channel anytime it's mentioned, and you won't miss anything important.

Harbaugh has recurring nitemares about that dropped pass and missed field goal.

Hope he has them for the rest of his coaching career. :singing:

Tainted in the minds of misinformed, and really, don't know how to put it, stupid people, including the press. It's plain and simple folks, videotaping defensive signals was NOT against the rules, UNTIL 2007. So it was NOT AGAINST THE RULES during the Patriot's dynasty (2001, 2003 & 2004). I'm sure every team did it from the creation of videocameras until 2007. Unfortunately, I don't have Harbaugh's phone number or email address, so I can't explain it to him, very slowly so he'll understand. I don't have every mediot's number or email address either, otherwise I'd slowly explain it to them.

I have explained it to fans of other teams I know, their small brains seem to process the information I give them, and then after a shocked few seconds, they usually say, "Well, ummm......they are still cheaters".

Harbaugh will be regretting these comments September 23rd. The only stain that night will be in the dude's pants when he realizes what Belichick does to teams led by coaches who break the coach's fraternity, and most notably, by coaches who criticize Belichick.

There are not, never have been and never will be 2 bigger @$$h&^*s in the NFL than the two Harbaugh brothers. What possible, legitimate reason would this dink have for bringing this up other than he's green-in-the-face jealous of BB and the Pats. I believe the Ravens are something like 1 and 7, or so, against Brady and Belichick and it's obvious it goes up Harbaugh's wazoo about 8 miles. Even the bloodless drones who comment on ProFootballTalk.com know he's a whiny gasbag. How someone in his position can't realize how petty this makes him look is unfathomable to me.

This is all true, Deus, and I wish I had your conviction not to care what the rest of our [idiot] sports country thinks. There's a lot of dumb people out there, I shouldn't waste my time worrying what they think.

That said - I do care, and it's why the last two SB losses have been so brutally painful. This team needs a 4th to validate the first 3. I hate to admit it, but it's true. Getting to within two Eli Manning bombs from two more rings means nothing to the fools that want to discredit our rings. We have to close the deal, just once, and it'll shut these people up.

Agreed. That was the one time he should have come out swinging with the media and used the facts instead of just moving forward.

How would that have helped his football team?
That is his concern. Whether other fans, coaches, players make comments like this years later means nothing to BB.
If yuo gave him the choice of being exonerated in the media and having his team losing focus or being villainized while his team stayed focussed there is no doubt what he would choose.
We can talk all we want about what he could have done that would be best for message board posters, but that was never part of the decision making process, nor should it have been,

They're tainted in the eyes of a lot of informed and smart people too. You're acting as if this is an issue of reason, when it's not. Hell, when this stuff first came out, there were boatloads of Patriots fans who were bagging on BB & Co. over it, and I was in the minority defending him. Time has brought more Patriots fans onto the defense side, but don't kid yourself: The "stain" is there until the living, and those they impact, are all dead.

Not giving a damn is a pretty good counter to it, I've found.

That clip should be called "Sterling Moore makes defensive Play of the Game". If it was Ed Reed, people would be saying All-pro move by an All-pro DB.

Great point, and noted for future reference..

On a side note. I am sure NBC is very happy with these comments. As they have the Pats Ravens game.

BB has the Baltimore game tape out, as we speak.

BTW he is a offensive genious .

1 &10 run middle
2 & 8 run middle
3&7 bomb and expect PI or the receiver make a good play.

GENIOUS!

Good....cant wait for BB to run up the score on this douchebag.
