GOD, just think how embarrassing that would be.

It doesn't take much to dump on a free agent who made the team on hustle. No matter his future, he sent a second and fourth rounder packing, and had seven interceptions, so if he retired now, he's still had a better career than you give him credit for.

Look as foolish as you like, no one cares and a street free agent being cut wouldn't be an earth shaking event anyway.

He's obviously either going to sign the 10 million dollar tender this year, or sign a longer term deal that pays him handsomely.

He's all but admitted that he's playing here this yr---"looking forward to getting back out there."

The only question is whether he'll show up for voluntary strength/conditioning OTA's, and I really don't think anyone gives a damn one way or another.

I'm not all concerned about Wes Welker, however Chad Johnson lately has turned into a twitter loon.

Also, remember when Arrington deceived us by leading the team in special teams tackles even though he wasn't signed until mid year?

I hope we have corners good enough that he's not handed the job again (not that he didn't handle it well, I love the guy). But with his hustle, attitude, ball hawking and special teams skills, I believe only a troll would think he wouldn't be a valuable part of the roster.

He always was, although I agree that he's been even worse lately. I hate that particular aspect of him.

Part of me will be glad if he's gone soon, although part of me still thinks he can make the team too, and can still offer 25 or so catches.

Even if he did make the team, he's not going to make many plays unless there are some significant injuries.

He's damned if he does, and damned if he doesn't in my opinion. The talent is still there on some level, but the question is--"is it there in THIS particular system?"
