Was it "dirt"? It was a segment on Espn with Gronk and Revis being interviewed and then they did a word association thing. I'm in a hotel bar so I couldn't quite hear what was said but Gronk was shocked. Did anyone see it?

(My first post since that awesome trip I took to Indy several weeks ago.)

Video: Gronk & Revis on SportsCenter - New England Patriots Blog - ESPN Boston

I'm watching right now....

EDIT: I guess that segment isn't on there.

Pretty trivial, but Gronk is awfully jittery and nervous during interviews. I've noticed this before. Not in a dumb way; like some football players are. I guess sometimes the brain moves faster than the mouth; cause it sounds like he'll interrupt his own sentence before he's finished and move on to a new train of thought.

Wonder what Belichick would say when playing word association.

Revis = OVERRATED

I think he called him a jerk

That makes more sense.

Revis started babbling about things BB says about the jets. AS IF!

It was pretty tense and very funny. I was hoping that Gronk would squash him.

It's got to be frustrating for Revis. Brady has no problem playing 10 on 10, and the defense still can't slow him down.

It's OK, Gronk got him back:

Bill Belichick has been called worse.

But it certainly caught Rob Gronkowski off guard on SportsCenter Wednesday when Darrelle Revis called the Patriots coach “a jerk” during a word-association segment.

“Wow. I wasn’t expecting that one,” a flustered Gronkowski said.

Revis quickly explained his reasoning.

“Just some of the comments he says about the Jets,” Revis said.

Gronkowski called Jets coach Rex Ryan an “entertainer.”

Even though Revis got in the first punch, Gronkowski came back with a counter.

After Revis called Tim Tebow “a competitor,” Gronkowski said, “starting quarterback for the Jets.”

“That’s a good one,” Revis said.

Wonder if Mark Sanchez was watching.

At the end of what felt like an awkward segment, Revis called Gronkowski “a beast,” while the Patriots tight end called Revis “the best corner in the NFL.”

Love the, like, 5 second delay after Gronk's Tebow comment before someone finally gets it and you hear laughter in the studio. That Gronk is a wily one.

Seriously has Belichick ever made a negative comment about the Jets?

Reportedly he said something to his son while walking off the field after the Pats trounced the Jets last year. Whatever.

As much as those clowns talk...they are upset about a private comment? Wow!

Rey & Tanny are running that sh-- show into the ground. Lousy talent; no depth; 2 overrated QBs.

Everybody, just wait patiently. Laugh last.

Who is overrating Tebow and Sanchez? Unless "horrible" is overrating them.

Odds that BB and JMD are currently scheming a way to get Revis a la Mr. Smith on the Steelers?

Exactly. BB never says anything disparaging in public about anyone.

You see, what bothers Jets players and fans is.... they know Bill thinks it....all the time.

...& the truth hurts.

They are classic bullies. They like to huff n puff, but don't like any in return...even when said privately.

Comments like what BB allegedly said in private are why I love the Hoodie.

The odds are pretty good that they've been doing this (or trying to) for a few years now.

I think they will find it much tougher than A.Smith, unfortunately.

That's a classless thing for Revis to say, and I'm actually a bit surprised that those words came out of his mouth, and not some of the other idiots that say stuff like that all the time who are on his team.

Belichick and Brady will do their talking through proper execution and hopefully winning games. My guess is that they couldn't care less, and are used to stupid comments like this.

The carnival never stops in Jetland does it. Great move Revis. Gronk for 150 yards games, Alex.

They don't even have a QB they believe in.

Rex is done. No control of that locker room.
