Just seems to me that in the locker room all week Reche was probably telling all teammates what Merrimen said about them after last years defeat,That the only way I could justify a BB team for mocking a players 'patent' dance in the middle of the field like T.O. does with Ray Lewis.

I am not saying it was O.K. to do the mocking issue, but I think Shawne said some nasty degrading things about NE after the game last year and Reche let the players know what he opened his mouth about..Its nice to have former teamates of team you have to play in the playoffs - I am 90% sure this had something to do with it and I think BB knew something like this was gonna happen if the Pats won and I really don't think he cared about if they did,as long as the game was won.

he was 1 of the guys seperating LT and tell him to calm down .

i doubt he had anything to do with it..remember Givens, Harrison, Vrabel all mocking TO in SB?

Yeah but T.O. mocks so many people, its hard to mock his original stuff!

hobbs did the dance.

hobbs did the dance.

After Hobbs got injured on that one play and on 1 knee at the near end of the game,I am glad he could get up to dance!!

Not what I expected from this franchise. I'm disappointed.

hobbs did the dance.

Good for him. I'm glad he did. Anyone who doesn't think Hobbs doing that dance is classic and purely appropriate has obviously not played one minute of sports even on a recreational level. LT is a joke.

How about we just assess one of those pus*y 15-yard taunting penalties for the first play the next time we play the Chargers? Sound fair? Works for me.

If Hobbs did the dance then it was a mistake. I also thought it was a mistake when Vrabel and Co. mocked the Eagle dance in the Super Bowl. Why give people an extra reason to dislike you?

Because this is sports! For god sakes, get off your high horses!! There's a difference between being classy and being emotionless robots.

Do the Pats invent their own stupid dances and copyright them? No. Is mocking another team's stupid dance classless? FU*K NO!

I can't take this stupidity anymore, really, anytime I read a post like this, I'm going to assume the person has never stepped onto any kind of playing field.

are these celebration dances by merriman and TO patented ? why should merriman do the lights out dance ? ...if we are doing the same dance which they do after sacking QB then its just disrespecting the disrespectful dances...nothing else..

Agree. I can't think of anything as lame as a team losing a big game, and then focusing on whether someone mimics a dumb dance. Guys who "have a dance" deserve to have iot put back to them.

Moral of the story: win the freakin' game, and then you do not have to worry about being imitated.

ALL the NFL teams dislike us deep down inside - Bottom line its JEALOUSY - We have what everyone one wants on the other teams from top to bottom and that is...
1-QB who never says die and could have been picked up by any other team in the 2000 draft.
2- We have a complete T-E-A-M with almost secretive personality where elsewhere almost every team has a flamboyant player who makes news weekly and some times in negative ways - We do not-we just creep up on opponents and don't overpay in the cap.
3- And 3rd most of all we have WON 3 SUPER BOWLS IN 5 YEARS AND ANOTHER POTENTIAL ONE ON THE WAY!! - - Thats why the other 30 teams hate us no matter what they say, they really do and want to be just like us.

I would hate it if the Pats act or put up any shows by their own. And thanks to BB, they never do. That is professionalism my dear friend. But when they dish it to others what the others do, boy, I love it! That shows that the Pats are capable of acting on the field and celebrating off it.

Why do you want us to be spineless and act like machines? Maybe that is the reason not many of the fans outside NE don't like the Pats that much. They respect, but think that the team is without emotion.

Go PATS!!

I'm going to post this in every thread until certain Pats fans admit their hypocrisy.

Well you have a long offseason to get over it.

Did you enjoy your rally last week and all the talk going on from your fans and players about your big new dynasty?

There's an unwritten rule in football that you don't do another player's dance.

You can insult their mother.
Gay bait them.
Punch them in the nuts.
Call their wife a slut.

But once you cross that line and do someone's dance, you've sunk really low.

Heck, I believe it has even been approved as a Man-Law.

Look, Merriman had it coming. After Juice got suspended by the league for cheating and with his appeal filed, he was doing his little sack dance in game like 2 days later.

Merriman had the opportunity to show some grace, some humility befitting the position he was in, which was that of a cheater. But he's too good for that. Just like he thought he was too good for the rules.

That's a great point. Didn't Merriman do his dance after just knocking Brady down to the ground (not even a sack)? How does that not qualify for disrespectful? These dances are contrived and not a spontaneous thing. I doubt the Hobbs thing was even contrived. Hey, if you want to partake in coming up with a dance and act foolish, don't get all misty eyed if someone acts foolish right back at ya. That said, again I wish Hobbs (or whoever was part of it) hadn't done it.......

Exactly! The Pats don't have anyone copying their dances, because they don't have them. So it's classy to come up with this crap and do it after every meaningless play, but when the other team does it after, you know, winning, it's classless?

I mean, when Deion Sanders is the voice of reason you know you've gone a little overboard.

Guess you need to read my comment again. Did Harrison do it all of a sudden against a team that did not do it against the Pats before?

OH MY GOD! PLEASE HELP CLARIFY BEFORE YOU START POSTING THIS PIC IN EVERY SINGLE THREAD!
