Bill Belichick is the best coach I've ever seen, and that includes Noll, Walsh, Landry and many others. 12-4 in what amounts to a rebuilding year, and now a win over the #1 seed. If this team wins the Superbowl, he goes down as best coach ever in my mind. And when this team reloads during the offseason... watch out. This team isn't going anywhere, and neither is their champion's heart, which comes from the top down.

I ditto your remarks. No NFL coach has done in seven years what Bill Belichick has done. Simply astonishing. Great, great job, Bill. Keep it coming, man!! All the way. On to the Colts !!!

Well said. "We are judged by our body of work".

I agree, the emotional toll of this game up and down was enormous. BB stays calm.

He's such a mastermind. And you're right, they're reloading. Poor Deion now..

Obviously Bill is a sickeningly good coach but don't forget the players on the field - like that play by #80

Troy has been my favorite player for a long, long time, and this just adds to it. There's no doubt there are some damn good, and in many cases, underrated, players on this roster. Belichick always finds a way to put them into position to win the game, and that's why he's the best.

And give props to Pioli and Kraft as well. This team has been killed by fans and media all season for "being cheap" and not keeping guys around. Well guess what folks we are in the AFC Championship game once again one win from the SB. We didn't keep Branch, Givens, Vinatieri, Big Mac but we built a team that can win now and in the future. Big props the the Patriots as an organization as well as the team and the coaches.
