My surprises of the 1st half:

1) The Pats coming out, primarily in a 4-3.
2) Tracy White seeing extended time in said 4-3.
3) No Ridley on the field yet.
4) Dane Fletcher on the field only for the coverage units.

Its going to be a new game after the half. The giants will make D adjustments esp without gronk and wont rush 3 like most defenses do in 2 min situations. I wont be surprised if the pats dont get any pts or go 3 and out. Key is to see what our D does now....If the first half is any indication, momentum wont be with 1 team for a long time.

Gronk can be effective he just can't run the no huddle hurry up but he will be fine for a grind it out possession which is what I want. Long patriots drive long half time long patriots drive equals rested patriots defense

The grounding penalty on the Pats' first play. A grounding penalty is both loss of down and yardage (in this case, a safety).

Second half they need to work together--both play to their potential and they will get their rings.

It is really amazing that the pats have a point lead considering how long the giants have had the ball and how many first downs they have had. What is really killing me is the Giants have 9 points because of all stupid mistakes by the pats.

A little off topic here -and I know I'm showing my age here but I have always been a fan of Madonna.

But except for a few squat thrusts - her dancing looks positively arthritic.
