After reading about the boasting of the NYG players, I became somewhat rattled and alarmed. But I take comfort in two Bible verses.

Proverbs: 3:34 The LORD mocks the mockers but is gracious to the humble.

James 4:6 But he gives us more grace. That is why Scripture says: "God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble."

Praise the Lord.
