Saw this at TheGangGreen.com and liked it as an idea so I thought i'd give it a try here 9I've washed since so I'm clean).

Anyone can join in!!

I'm in. BTW Washington picks 6 and Minny picks 3, is that a trade up? If so it does make sense for these two teams.

St Louis Rams Select Matt Kalil, OT, USC

The Washington Redskins are now on the clock

Damn! Screw up on my part. I copied the order from a spreadsheet on which I was already working a draft. As the pick has already been made I'll stick with it. Makes sense anyway. Sorry all.

I don't think the Rams would have taken RG3 if that's what you're thinking. I think the Redskins' pick all depends on whether they really do go get Peyton Manning. But since we can't know that now, and since they desperately need a QB, well, that pick makes sense to me.

I'm not 100% sure of the draft order. I went with what the OP put, but it does appear that Minnesota has the #3 pick. If that's the case, they seem sold on Christian Ponder, so I think they would take WR Justin Blackmon, Oklahoma State.

But the OP has the call on what to do there.

No, in my personal mock, from which I copied this order, I had the Rams taking Kalil and Minny trading down with the Skins. Trading up to No2 is very rich (2 firsts) and I think teams will call the Rams bluff.

I just forgot to restore the correct order when I pasted the list.

To make things better, I've fixed the order and gone with your Minnesota pick. No Claiborne huh?

Minnesota Vikings Select Justin Blackmon, WR, Oklahoma St

Cleveland Browns are now on the clock

Sorry for the mess up

Just project Minny trading pick to Washington. Could happen.
I think we have the top 3 picks nailed. If I'm Cleveland, I'd select Trent Richardson and kick Peyton Hillis in the arse on way out of the door. Wimp.

If RG3 is still on the board, the Brownies sprint to the podium and pick him. Radio stations all over NE Ohio start playing Cleveland Rocks!

And then trade Colt McCoy?? That's an expensive QB duo.

McCoy was a 3RD ROUND pick. What's he make 1m per year? And, he stinks.

Yeah my bad. I thought he was a higher pick than that. And yes, he does stink. So no problem going with RG3 at all.

With the number 5 pick in the 2012 NFL Draft

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers select:

Morris Claiborne, CB, LSU

Washington is now on the clock.

With the 6th pick in the 2012 NFL Draft

The Washington Redskins select:

Riley Rieff, OT, Iowa

Jacksonville is now on the clock

Jacksonville Jaguars select Mike Adams, OT, Ohio State with the 7th pick

The Miami Dolphins are now on the clock

Seems like a bit of a reach.

Interesting to see what happens with OT's this year. Last year, they were all clustered mid to late first round, this year there being mocked more towards the top. Better OT's, bigger need, or less good other position players at the top of the first?
