Interesting point. A more positive look at it could be "Patriots Spell Doom for Winning Records and Playoff Hopes". Seven of our victories (Jets, SD, Oakland, Denver, Philly, Dallas, Jets) caused 6 teams to not have winning seasons and any one of those teams (except Denver) may make the playoffs if they had beaten the Patriots (and we belatedly helped Denver out of the playoffs ).

We did play a lot of games against .500 teams. With the game against a 7 win team and 3 wins against 6 win teams, the Patriots definitely steam rolled the middle teams of the NFL. And the good news is next Sunday the issue of whether we can beat a "winning" team will be conspicuously settled.
