Kirwan knows his stuff. He's also very friendly with BB. I would not dismiss his opinion.
If the Pats didn't play the Broncos less than a month ago, I would be all over the betting line. However, its always tough to play a team in a short amount time (ala 2007 vs. Giants).
I absolutely agree.I wouldn't dismiss the opinion that they can keep the game close.
Hopefully the "right" Patriot team shows up on Saturday. I have a hard time believing that it will be 3 straight home playoff losses.

To be honest, im so scared of this game. i keep imagine that the wrong side of the pats will show up on satruday and we will lose it, i just dont see us winning this game, on the other hand - i didnt see us winning against the rams in 2001 so...i really dont know - but i dont have a good feeling about this game even one bit.
If the New England Patriots lose this weekend, Brady would become just the fifth quarterback in NFL history to lose four straight postseason games. According to the Elias Sports Bureau, Dave Krieg holds the record at five, followed by Warren Moon, Billy Kilmer and Y.A. Tittle, all of whom lost four in a row. Worse yet, Brady would be the first quarterback to lose four straight postseason games without any being a road game.
With a victory over the Denver Broncos, Brady would join Joe Montana as the only quarterbacks with 15 postseason wins. He's currently tied for second with Terry Bradshaw and John Elway.
On the flip side, the Pats are arguably healthier than they were when they were in surgery mode against the Broncos, while the Broncos are not.
