Romeo: "Bill hasn't called, doesn't need to."

I heard that comment on NFL Network about Bill calling Crennel and thought it was odd.

I think it is funny that Romeo told the media that they are full of it. Even if they share info about common opponents (a distinct possibility), the media played it off like Bill needed Romeo's help.

I also noticed the talking heads referring to Pats defense as the 32nd ranked defense. I thought GB beat us out for that honor. Either way, still no concerns about GB's defense from the media but the Pats get plenty of airtime in that regard.

NFLN is not alone in their curious fixation on the first quarter in Denver.

My guess is they have concluded the final three quarters of 34-7 beatdown/shutdown as a minor event.

Ofcourse, they still haven't figured out that the 22nd scoring/ 23rd in turnovers Steeler offense isn't really that "explosive"....so maybe it's just too big a deal.

Which is Romeo's point.
I do wonder if Fox is smart enough to come up with another offensive game plan?

Fox is smart enough to come up with another game plan. Unfortunately the QB running the show is 1 dimensional. Tebow connected on almost every big play and on those he didn't they got a Pass Interference flag to help out. Shots down the field are about a ~20% completion rate. He can't hit 20 percenters for 80-90% of the time forever.

I imagine Fox will march into Foxborough with the same game plan as he used versus the Steelers. If Tebow nails those big plays again, Denver probably wins. If not, they definitely lose.

I don't know if it was really the game plan of Denver as much as the Steelers game plan of not bothering to cover the WR that was the reason for the outcome. I hope BB decides that at least one DB needs to be within 30 yards of every WR unlike the Steeler's defense.
