Why would the Pats play the 4 man front that Tebow tore apart last time???
Right - they had to switch from 4-3 to 3-4. So my keys are:
1. Come out in 3-4 alignment and stay in your assignments.
2. Keep safeties back (don't be dumb like Steelers), and make it Chung & McCourty. If they get some rushing yards, they get them. The guys up front have to take care of business and limit the rush (which they have had a problem with lately - what up with that?). Big Vince we need YOU.
3. Don't put Ninkovich on Tebow. He can't handle it.
4. Keep the pressure on Tebow and make him throw short. He is still incredibly inaccurate in short passing, but showed last week that he can throw a nice long ball to an open receiver, so cover the receivers long and hope he misses short.
5. Protect Brady. Don't let Dumervil or anyone else get a wide open shot on Tommy. Give him the freedom to tear the Broncos apart, which he will if he is well protected.
6. Use Ridley for the whole game. He's our best back right now and deserves a chance to get going.
7. Come out fired up and inspired. If things don't go well for a series or two, don't get down; just keep playing. Make adjustments like you've been doing all year long.
8. Get the crowd into it if you have to (don't think you'll have to). It's okay with the fans when Big Vince or some of the other guys gesture that they need help from the crowd. Sometimes we are so into the game we forget, and we don't want to be maligned by our fellow posters the next morning.
Go Pats! I am getting really excited for this game!
