Good Luck Andre and hope you have a speedy recovery!

Good luck indeed! I hope he's back in form for next year. He's been a great addition to this team.

Hopefully a speedy recovery and back up to speed (and with the team next year).

With that said, next player up and let's get hot for the playoffs.

Dark humor too, this guy's got the whole package. I feel so bad he won't be with us this year, hope he can continue his career. Love to see him get a ring in absentia!

Go Pats! Go Andre!

I well remember my first cataract surgery. The eye doctor made certain, talking with me, which eye was to be worked upon, and then took a sharpie, and wrote "This One" on my forehead, with an arrow pointing down to the proper eye. I thought that was funny, until he mentioned how easy it was when doing 6-8 of these operations a day, to do the wrong one without marking it ahead of time.

Sigh.

yeah...uh, thanks Gwedd...looks like I'll be staying blind for the time being...

They're very thorough now prior to surgery and procedures, before I had my last procedure they asked me several times what my name was, DOB which leg, even the doctor asked 5 minutes before the procedure started.

Scary to think that the problem is common enough that they need to put all these safeguards into place.

Yup. That's why I was happy they gave me all those great drugs. They keep you just sober enough to sign the consent forms and nod yes to the Doc, then it's lights out and enjoy the dreams, boyo.
