BTW, I told everyone here about the ref crews and what to expect...well, we DID get Carey, Goodell's little drummer boy fixer...anyone happen to see the unbelievable calls against the Pats and the twenty or so uncalled holding penalties, most of the extremely blatant variety, on Pats D lineman in the final quarter??? On one play where Tebow escapes a sure sack, the Denver O lineman has our rusher by the jersey from behind, then pushes him in the back from behind allowing the Chosin Death Marcher to escape to his left and run for a 1st down...THAT cannot go uncalled in an NFL game...sorry...blatant...it's Carey AGAIN...end of story...personally,I'm calling every venue I can and e-mailing every NFL address I can find...enough of this crap...I don't work hard all week to see that window of enjoyment I reserve for myself on Sunday RUINED by this crooked little turd.

A lot of blatant holding, thats true. also, the wildcat or other QB involved running plays just screws with defenses at first, it's not the first time. Our run D has been good most all year, you just have to shake off that horror and regroup, like a previous poster said we did.

Also, Tebow has improved tremendously on his mechanics. With his poise and athleticism, he definitely could be for real, though he'll really have to evolve. Defenses will catch up to the gimmick of that option run offense once they break it down on film.

I was really impressed how he almost got tackled in the end zone, fumbled and had the poise to pick it up and throw it away instead of taking the safety in the back of the end zone.

Just wanted to stop by and tell you guys good game. I was pulling for my Broncos but NE was just too much to handle.

I'm not even sure how ANY team can slow down an offense like that. There are just too many weapons. I won't say you guys played mistake free but you are damn sure more disciplined. I couldn't believe how many penalties we had tonight. The turnovers made me sick to my stomach.

Everybody is entitled to a bad game I think but Quan Cosby deserves to be roundhouse kicked in the face by Chuck Norris.

Anyway...

TL;DR version - Good Game. The better team won today. Good luck to you guys.

Very classy. You guys are for real. Probably forced us into our best effort this year IMO.

Tebow is much improved, but he'll have to be. Gimmick offenses and running QBs have their time limits, but if his throwing has improved that much in a few games, he should be able to handle it. I believe!

Coughing up the ball on the road against a decent opponent is generally a recipe for a loss.

While very true, the Patriots did not have a turnover in the Pittsburgh game.

I believe the only turnover at all was the Guyton pick inside the PIT 20 yard line, that led to our first score to cut it to 10-7. Other than that, no one had any other turnovers.

You must be thinking of a different game.

Has anyone noticed....the Pats have scored 79 more points more than any other AFC team thru 13 games...that's 6 more points/game. (437 pts / 33.6 pts per game)

Has anyone noticed...the Pats have the greatest points for/points against differential (140)in the AFC. Houston is 2nd (107)

After week 13 (Pitt/SF game not factored).....of the 6 current post season bound teams, Pats are #1 in points for...#4 in points against (ahead of Fat Rex's frauds and the Denver Tebows)

Prediction....Although BB claims the Patriots NEVER put individual stats ahead of team, expect both Welker and Gronk to finish 1st in these categories because the Patriots ALWAYS go for records/individual rankings. Oh my someones a little Testy this morning. What went on yesterday goes on EVERY SUNDAY on the game thread. If the Brady fails to connect on a pass, or the pats don't make a first down the sky is falling crowd is out in force. I'm surprised thats the worst you could come up with. Thats the reason i've pretty much stopped going on it, its more enjoyable just watching the game. That being said, with the way the D has played at times i don't think anyone could sit there and say "well this is no big deal, its just a phase the team will make adjustments etc. Especially when the Pats have won in Denver maybe Two times in Forty years, and yesterday was one of them. I didn't mean for this to get into a pissing match when i posted what i did, but for you to tell me you had no doubts watching this team in the first quarter is asinine, your a lier, or delusional..... Excuse me ive got to go, i have to listen to Joe Bada Bingo melt down, Have a Nice Day

As bad as the first quarter looked, our defense made enough plays the rest of the way to give our offense opportunity to distance ourselves form them.

Our offense made that good Bronco defense look like a sieve all game.

Good win in a hostile environment.

I'll give the coaches and players credit for making adjustments after the first quarter, but the initial defensive game plan, whatever it was, was obviously the wrong one for the Broncos. One example (among several), the Pats played the first 3rd and 4 play exactly like the Jets with the CB being sucked inside leaving no outside contain. They got the same results as the Jets as Tebow ran around the end for the easy first down. The Bronco's favorite play is to pull the left guard around the center and run behind him. The Pats acted like they had never seen this before (do I go heavy? light? what?). One had to question if anyone watched any tape of the Bronco's during the week.

And yes, at the end of the first quarter, if I was the owner, GM of the team (the person evaluating their performance), I would be deeply concerned over how they could go into this game so apparently unprepared. They are an NFL team after all with professional coaching. Maybe Kraft read them the riot act after the first quarter and told them to start doing their jobs.

Hmm.... So one of my many "fans" took a shot at me when I wasn't in a thread. That's not surprising.. Many of them aren't intelligent enough to have a regular conversation with, never mind one about football.

The defense in the 1st quarter was horrible. After that, except for two plays, the defense basically shut the Broncos down..

you can ...uh...self gratify yourself as long as you're in your stance with your other hand on the ground...krist, I've seen Jeff Saturday gesticulating wildly for ten seconds before the snap with Manning going beserk behind him...but communication along the line with hand signals is done by all teams on the road

If this is the case why don't teams have synchronized head movement or put their butts in the air at the same time? For example on short yardage, when it's imperative you get off the ball faster then the other guy, the entire line could all move in sync while keeping their stance. There would be at least one guy on the DL who would jump.

if you took your head out of you know where for a moment and READ the post game comments from BB,Brady, and Wilfork you'd discover that elusive clue..the Patriots started the game in a 4/3...twelve minutes into the game Matt Patricia huddled the D together on the sideline, switched to a 3/4 and effectively shut the Broncos attack down.Read Gasper's post game report in the Globe.Your backhanded remark about Bob Kraft is ignorant.
