It's not Slater's fault. As the FS, if the run gets to him, everything else on D has failed.

I think the problem is at the line. Denver is dominating there and dictating the edge. They are getting the openings that they create.

Been watching the Patriots since the early 70's and this is by far the worst defense the Patriots have ever fielded.

That seems logical considering this is one of the worst defenses in NFL history.

this defense is total garbage.....

a high school team has better defense then the patriots. they absolutely suk. and ive had a lot of time to sit and ponder just how bad they are. there are not words to describe just how bad the pats defense is.

Am I being a whiner or are their TE/Tackles getting away with a little bit of holding out on the edge? Not sure it would make a whole lot of difference in some cases, but it seems Ninko has had a couple holds (and don't get me wrong, they are quality holds, nothing too obvious or long, but enough to cause a slight delay).

It's truly embarrassing. Normally they're the worst vs the pass, now they're getting run on when they know to defend the run like they're the worst rush D in the league.

Denver D is stout (as we witnessed) and if they keep driving down making TDs we're not going to win a shootout playing from behind like this.

We wrere 32nd Defense before we cut Bodden. When he was cut, some one said, we are 32nd "D". what does it matter. Now I know it matters.
