You know what I really want Sunday?

I want... no... I NEED THE PATRIOTS TO WIN!

The lack of commitment to the run is even more odd since they've been effective whenever they've run the ball, more or less. They're averaging 4.5 ypc on the season.

Couldn't agree more about the importance of running the ball in this game (we Chem E's must think alike). The Pats showed they could run the ball effectively versus the Jets in the first game. I think it would help the Pats defense, at least a bit, if the time of possesion balance were more in the Pats favor than it has been in the past couple of games.

Two biggest question about this for me are:

1. Is BJGE healthy enough to carry 20 to 25 times and be effective?

2. When the Jets load the box, can the Pats make them pay by going deep (and if so, with whom?)

Play with heart, show emotion, get a little nasty on both sides of the ball. I saw some signs of this against the Giants and I loved it.

That I want to see a win too should go without saying.

Got a fever, only a Patriots win will cure, with perhaps more cowbell. By any means necessary. A full 60 minute effort should be the cure.

Sanchez 3 Interceptions
Gronk 3 TD receptions
Ryan 3 humble pies.

Can we throw in a couple TD passes for Aaron Hernandez? would help my fantasy team

I'd like to see Brady play toss and catch with PATRIOT receivers only this week......

Vereen, Ridley or Underwood returning punts and kickoffs....

The Patriot OL commit no false starts or holds

AND last but not least...

NO FRIKKIN PI PENALTIES ...... They are killers ....

Half the time the long balls weren't even catchable....

I couldn't for the life of me work out why the Patriots didn't run the ball against a suspect Giants run D on the weekend with our best RB (Green-Ellis) given he showed he could move the ball on them.

The offensive playcalling has left me scratching my head this season. It's either been fantastic or crap. No middle ground.
Have to agree. Reiss and Bruschi excused it away by saying he wasn't successful, but he averaged 4.2 yards a carry. I thought the coaching staff choked, between the one-dimensional play calling (at least we got some play action in later on) and the panicky final drive where we somehow left 1:36 on the clock after getting the ball with something like 2:50 left in the game.

Patriots victory, regardless of how it's achieved in terms of run/pass

Sorry, it's not about the games anymore. Are you a bootlicker or a hater?

Seriously, I'd be quite happy to see Brady uncork a 500 yarder, or run the whole damn game. I don't know what the defense will dictate.

Probably more concerned with how our front seven operates. For all the emphasis on Big fat stinkos push on the few plays he was in, i think our pressure has been under the radar with some good play overall. I'd love to see them go after Sanchez, but we'll see.

And I thought this thread was going to be about ice cream....

I want Rex Ryan to have a goddamn snack...
I want Wes Welker to refrain from foot jokes...
I want the Patriots to display some heart and fortitude and PLAY TO WIN THE GAME....

GO PATS

The Jets walking off the field with their heads bowed and not spreading their arms in that stupid, childish "airplane" motion.

Brady - zero interceptions and zero fumbles

We would then win the game easily.
