It doesn't surprise me that Guyton wiffed, that should be Chung's tackle.
Still, thats just a great playmaker making a play. It happens!
The more troubling play was the next reception by Bryant, where he put the hurt on like 3 of our secondary before he was finally dragged down. Gotta hit him a little harder next time to at least make him ask questions about going through the middle.
same deal as last week Pats get a 10 point lead then immediately go soft allowing the opposing offense to roll the length of the field. Another day of a thousand paper cuts. We have a dynamic offense why not take a few aggressive chances on defense with a 10 point lead? I know there leading, and are 4-1 , but when does it bite them?
Don't blame Guyton on this play. It was Chung's fault. He had outside. Either he thinks Guyton sucks and that he had to do his job for him, or he does not understand how to communicate well on the field.
So the Pats have one of the best offense in the league and now you are bashing them for that. It sucks that the defense gave up a seven minute TD drive, but they have been great most of the game. Let's not kill them for that when they have shutdown a very good offense for most of the first half. If they play like they did on the last drive for the rest of the game, then I will change my mind.
I'm not bashing anyone. I am saying that was a terrible defensive series where a good one could have made this a more comfortable game. Ten points on 5 drives is good, but you take a game as you find it and they had a chance for a near knockout and missed.
Yeah, the Cowboys have been averaging 417.8 YPG and 24.8 PPG and that is with Romo with broken ribs and Dez Bryant out for several games. The Pats held them to 10 points and 173 yards in the first half. The three points were because they started the drive in field goal range.
I don't think the Patriots deserve criticism as much as the Cowboys are playing very tight and very well today. I do not think they will have enough to get on top of us though and we should pull it out.

I'm no BB but my eyes tell me that McCourty is struggling. Last year it seemed like he was shadowing his receiver and made every catch a tough one. Right now he always seems to be a few steps behind his guy and doesn't even turn to look for the ball. If that is how BB is coaching him then i guess that is on him.

Right now, the only reason this is a close game is because of the Pats' offense, not the defense. The Pats offense got 6 points off of two turnovers. Brady gave the Cowboys three points because of a turnover.
Let's not blame the defense for a close game when it is clearly the offenses' fault.
