How does the announcer know where Brady meant to go with the ball? He know for a fact it was supposed to be back shoulder and Branch turned the wrong way?

Because he has the all-22 look at the game. He saw Branch come in, then turn back out when he read the pass as backshoulder but was too late.

It seems logical considering you want your receiver to go out of bounds with only 15 seconds on the clock. Even with two time outs.

Then why would Branch even turn in?

That is their game plan. Gronk is being ganged upon. They are concentrating on closing down the seam.

Agreed…I guess throwing into the tight coverage is a calculated risk by Brady.
You know what they say…if you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much space!

It'll open up again when the Patriots start making plays off of it by having Gronk turn it into a post and things like that.

Can these announcers be anymore pro Oakland. If you didn't know the score you'd think the Pats were down by 3 TDs. They keep saying DMcfadden is having his way with the Pats when he hasn't had a run over 3 yds....except of the 40 yarder

It seemed kinda clear from the TV broadcast that Branch ran the wrong route. Seeing the whole field would probably make it even more obvious.

When Hernandez is back it will help this offense tremendously. Right now it's pretty much double team Welker and Gronkowski and the other options are "meh." Hopefully Branch comes back to life as well.

Well... to be fair, the entire defense has been questionable at best this whole year. With Mayo gone, we can probably downgrade ourselves to out. :bricks:

Who knows. Several fat@sses on the BoSox swear by their conditioning coach. I think there is some bad luck there, too.
