Dan might, or might not, be garbage, but he was cut from the Lions, who already had their 3 tight ends in place (their #3 TE just got a new 3 year deal last year), and the Broncos, who are a train wreck with their personnel decisions.

A train wreck before or after Josh? He was cut by John Fox, who has the daunting task of cleaning up Josh's mess.

The Lions are clearly on the upswing....and cleaned house too. Color me unimpressed.

Seems like the Gronskowski pantie party brigade is strong, however. Guess headlines are pretty important to some. First Ochocinco, now the Gronkowski bros. Party on!

May sound really dumb, but I'm wondering if BB can confuse defenses by subbing Dan in for Rob -- or putting both out at the same time -- and the D potentially might lose track of which is which.

If you can align a LB at the DT position and confuse the D by dropping him into coverage (yeah, BB has done this) then you can certainly sub a Gronk for a Gronk.
