Ok, with the Rosters having to be trimmed to 80 men on Tuesday, what are your 10+ roster moves?

Thomas Austin (if they decide to sign a Guard)

I don't think Jenkins gets cut this first round, we need to suit up some receivers in that final game and we know that Welker ain't playing and probably neither is Branch or Ocho.

Ocho - sadly, he seems clueless when he is out there...

Tate may be gone. But, Barnes probably go before Tate..

Farnham may stay as he is a safety as well..

Not sure that they'd cut Berry since he plays the guard position. But I could see the others as well.

Ocho has been with the team for all of 4 weeks. Expecting more than he's shown is not really a fair expectation.

The 7 players I listed would be the 7 WR still available despite letting Jenkins go and not playing Ocho, Branch and Welker.

Also, Ocho won't be cut. BB has never cut a player in the same year that the player had re-done their contract to help the team. It's bad business.

There is absolutely no chance Ocho will be one of the first ten cut.

You guys have to stop saying Ocho should be cut. The guy has only had a month to learn the NFL's most complex offense. He still has a long way to go in the system if anything and build some chemistry with Brady. It takes time.

Any changes at receiver has to include Tate.

Agreed, Yeatman is the 3rd TE on the roster! Lee Smith is the TE I cannot see making it!

From what I have seen over the 3 games:
1) He's SLOW.
2) He can't block. Either in line or as the lead blocker in front of the RB.
3) Did I mention he's SLOW?


When you are a TE and you are the lead blocker, you look very stupid standing there as the RB who tried to go by you gets tackled by the guy whom you were supposed to have tied up...

The only thing that Yeatman has going for him is that he's tall and can catch the ball decently. Certainly have not been impressed with him during the games.

Yeatman is a rookie, and an UDFA at that. Of course he's going to have a rough start or two before things start slowing down for him.

He's superseded Smith on the depth chart and has taken quite a few reps with the first team.

In terms of raw talent and intangibles, I've seen at camp that he brings more to the table than Smith does, at this point.

I see Yeatman on the 53 man roster. While I think Mills gets cut, I think they keep him till the final cut in case they need to resign him.

Yeatman wouldn't have gotten this much playing time if he couldn't block.

As far as the 10 roster moves, I'd expect some IR and reserve PUP moves by Tuesday, maybe as much as 6 or 7. Possibly even a trade or two. Exhibition #4 is Thursday, I'm sure Belichick will want the extra bodies for that game
