Re: Haynesworth sighting from the Herald.

Excellent! Looks like he's lost some weight too.

I'm looking forward to seeing him play.

Re: Haynesworth sighting from the Herald.

Haynesworth looked pretty relaxed for a guy about to go on trial on Tuesday.

The feds are pretty amped up for a misdemeanor case that he could have pled guilty to a lesser charge. If found guilty, one wonders if we'll ever see him in a Patriots' uniform and/or what the NFL might do to punish him beyond what the court says. Should be an interesting day on the 23rd when the government starts parading its ten witnesses before the judge who is none too happy with Albert for blowing off his early August court appearance.

Re: Haynesworth sighting from the Herald.

He will be in court all next week fighting against him being a fondling pig.

Now word out is he is trying to pay off the accusation - I don't know how legit that is.

Its hard to like the guy but knowing that a player like this who is motivated (ala Randy Moss) could be the key to winning a championship.

Its really tough to like...or hate him as a Patriot

Tons more legit than the other side trying to pay a witness.

What's wrong with trying to reach a settlement with an allegedly aggrieved party?

Re: Haynesworth sighting from the Herald.

If its legal, its all legit.

Lets see him rock!

It makes no difference to me what kind of person he is. My feelings towards him are exclusively tied to his production on the field this year. And I'm expecting there's going to be a lot to like.

well, if its a criminal case reaching a settlement with the victim wouldnt end the case. the payoff would probably be to keep the victim's mouth shut....either way, hopefully AH is innocent and will get off

Generally speaking, reaching a settlement both stops a civil case and leads to the victim not testifying in the criminal case. That usually kills the criminal case, because it's usually very difficult for the state to win this sort of case without the victim testifying.

Re: Haynesworth sighting from the Herald.

That better not be ice cream!!!

Re: Haynesworth sighting from the Herald.

The real question is how in the world are offensive lines going to handle Haynesworth and Wilfork inside? They're going to occupy at least 3 blockers every play right? I would think three would be the absolute minimum and that would only be if you had either one all world guard or center. Should be real interesting.

In our nickel package I think we'll see A. Carter and M. Anderson coming off of the edge. Goint to have a good pass rush this year. We saw last night how effective Mayo can be blitzing. Gonna be a load for a rb to pick. 5 OL 1QB 1RB BLITZ PICKUP. We could still get pressure. Have man underneath with the 4 receivers out and safeties on each side of the field over the top.
