Thank you Tim Thomas. I was born one year too late (1973) and have been a Bruins fan all my life and I can now honestly say... you are my new favorite Bruin of all time, replacing Cam Neely.

Wish I were back home (western mass) to celebrate with my family and friends.

Enjoy the parade for me everyone.

I don't know if this has been observed yet, but the Patriots are now the least recent local team to win a championship - and by several years, no less!

The 70' and 72' Bruins had many young kids playing street hockey and loving it ... we had a ball. I hope this inspires some kids to enjoy this sport - it's a great sport and I hope to see more young kids at least have some fun and add street hockey to their fun routines with their friends. Hockey is my first love as it's the sport I grew up mostly playing - I sleep a happy fan tonight - if i sleep at all.

It has been a decade of redemption by our 4 major sports franchises no doubt, especially after experiencing the agony of the 90's. It is a celebration that is shared by the entire region of New England. Don't forget college either. BC Hockey won in '01, '08 and '10. BU nabbed one in '09. Then there's UConn basketball with titles in '04 and '11. There's also a # of Olympic Gold Medalists to hang our NE hats on like Jenny Thompson, Bode Miller and Hanna Kearney plus more I haven't thought of. It's a proud time to be a New Englandah.
