Yes, fan mocks from FootballsFuture. At least neither of these folks are Pats fans.

28. New England - traded to Detroit for #44, #106, and 2012 3
33. New England - Marcus Cannon, G, TCU
44. New England - traded to Arizona for #69 and 2012 3 and 2012 6
60. New England - Jabaal Sheard, DE/OLB, Pittsburgh

Draft B:

Already drafted: Peterson, Dareus, Miller, Quinn, Newton, Green, Amukamara, Fairley, Watt, Jones, Bowers, T. Smith, Kerrigan, J. Smith, A. Smith, Solder

26. New England - Adrian Clayborn, DE, Iowa
28. New England - Akeem Ayers, OLB, UCLA
33. New England - traded with 2011 6 to Philadelphia for #54, two 2011 4s and a 2011 5

Akeem Ayers at #17 looks like an automatic fail. Now watch us draft him.

Option C, neither gets out of the batter's box.

I'm going to make a superhuman effort at looking on the bright side:

Sheard at #60 is a pretty good pick.

When did Matt Millen start contributing to Football's Future?

i don't know if i am being way over critical here but akeem ayers... i just don't think he is very good. he seems slow and stiff to me and i just don't like him for the pats.

Can anyone tell me why people have in him the 1st round and some in the top 15? I really don't like him anywhere even with our 33

First one fails way more. They have the Pats passing on Watt AND Aldon Smith for Ayers :bricks:

What is this power Akeem Ayers has to cloud men's minds? Good but not great productivity, poor measurables, and a lack of football instincts that's bound to be exposed at the next level. How can that look like a top-20 pick to anyone?

Exquisitely put, Sister Patricia!!

He had size/speed going for him. Then he measured up at 6' 2.5" and ran a 4.8 40.

Other than that, he has versatility, supposedly between any of the 7 LB spots in 3-4 or 4-3, and is pretty decent in coverage. However, he can't shed blocks, is a pile-watcher, and has no pass rush moves other than coming in untouched. As a pass-rusher, I compare him to Adalius Thomas. Not going to make anything happen on his own, but if there's a whole to exploit, he can go through it.

Ah, so he's Gary Guyton without the speed. Irresistible!

Pretty much. I think Ayers' run struggles are more due to effort and Guyton's are more due to size, but they are pretty similar.

H'mmm, draft failure has an addictive quality all it's own.
