Jeter wins a GG every year, and isnt close to being the best defensive SS in the league. Its the fact that you mentioned GG's that make you look even more like a tool. I have to say that I'm seeing the Sox win the AL East this year. Do I think they're light years ahead of last year? Not necessarily, but I think they made more strides than the Yankees, Rays, and Blue Jays (watch out for these guys). The Sox do have questions but far fewer in number than any of the other teams. It will be a tough fight, but I'm seeing the Sox come away with the East.

How about this: next time everybody on either side in a debate like this one try to stick to topic of discussion (baseball, the Red Sox, the team's chances of winning the division/pennant/world series, etcetera) and discard the name-calling and baiting of other posters; does that sound good?
