Mikel Leshoure looks like Corey Dillon 2.0. 6' 230 lbs. He could be a surprise pick at a position that is not really a 'need' per se. If the Pats can run the ball in the playoffs that increases their chances of success and opens up play action.

Julio Jones or another WR

Julio Jones is regarded as a top ten draft pick. I don't see how Julio Jones is going to improve the New England Patriots defensive pass rush.

McCourty happened before with Mankins who was thought to be a reach on draft day. There's no reason to think it won't happen again in the next few years as our #1 picks are usually good with Maroney being the closest to a bust.
