With GB looking to win this one going away, just curious if there has ever been a year both #6 seeds advanced to their respective conference championships. I'm a big believer in decades of data holding to form so hopefully it has never happened.

Two years ago Pitt (#2) and Balt (#6) in AFC and Philly (#4) and Arizona (#6) in NFC
 
I've never understood why people put so much thought into seedings. It's just a number.
