Anyone else happy Moss Didn't go back to Pats?

The Patriots don't say much and I believe BB (for the most part) when he gives Moss a lot of praise. Part of the reason BB does this is because that's what he does with practically everyone (on his team or the opponents) and part of it is because that's what Moss needed when he was here.

Your hypothesis breaks down when you realize that BB went out of his way to call a Press conference and defend/clarify Moss' situation AFTER he was traded.

As for the rest, I'll just stay out of trying to psychoanalyze a person based on a handful of media conferences and reports (a very very limited scope of social situations). Far too many other human beings LIKE the guy for him to be that bad of a person.

Raytheon situation has nothing to do with disciplinary actions with BB, and lategate included a handful of players, not really a big disciplinary issue.

When a player is at that sort of function, he's representing the TEAM. The Head Coach is the main figure who the player reports to.

Also, you seem to be forgetting Moss' Game 1 antics during the National Anthem and in the Special Teams huddle. The antics during the Anthem got the Pats a letter from the league. The Antics during the pre-game huddle astounded many people because Moss was yelling the "N" word.

There has been lots of speculation as to Randy's mental status. I can't say if he's all there or not. But, his actions don't seem to be ones that a sane person who do.

Unless you have more than vague media reports and a handful of media interactions I think it's best to leave the psychoanalysis alone. It really IS ok to admit to not having nearly sufficient information/knowledge. Speculation is NOT a requirement.

I was kinda intrigued with the idea of watching Moss go deep, Branch and Welker intermediate, and Hernandez releasing down the seam...

We had it without Branch. Brady forced it to Moss, we lost. Then the next game we threw to Moss zero times and we won and Randy got very unhappy. I'd say it's working out just fine without him.

Who says he isn't coming back? He is is a UFA at the end of 2010, he wants to be here, and I think BB would gladly take him back under the amount of money that he offered and Moss rejected. Which Moss regretted doing, obviously.

Ya, no. Moss was never offered any money by the Pats, and he never will be again. Sorry.

Are we playing a weird "find the correlations" game? Brady 70% with Moss, 60% without. Finding a correlation to say whatever you want to say is not hard, it's incredibly lazy and frequently wrong.

Seriously, we lose the Jets game without Moss just as bad if not worse.

Really? I mean, we can sit and play the speculate game all day, but I think most people would agree, especially in the 2nd half it appeared as though Brady was definitely forcing it to Moss which was bad.
