Here is what I think happened.
Randy in 2007 came in all gung-ho and was great. Then afterwards slowly but steadily forgot how bad life was in Oakland and got more and more selfish and stopped being a team player. I saw the beginning of this when be declared no confidence in Matt Cassel in the KC post game presser. By the beginning of 2010 Randy had become a liability instead of an asset to the team, because of attitude not skill.
So BB sends Randy to a 10 week time out with Brad the moron and Farve the ints king, but doesn't burn the bridge figuring on signing a renewed Randy after Randy gets a reminder that not all teams are as good of a place to be as NE.
I am all for signing Randy back up, because he is a freak of nature that can catch balls nobody else can. But just cause I want him on the team doesn't mean he ain't an ahole.
Wow, I am a pretty big homer myself. But that is just blind. His post Pats-Viking rant was no worse than his post Pats-Ravens rant. Does that mean the Patriot treated him without respect leading up to that game and our coach doesn't know how to run an organization?
Do you really think the food at the Vikings facility is really substandard dog food?
Most of this, heck all of this, is Randy. Randy is an unstable selfish douche. And unstable selfish douche who is also a freak of nature and can catch balls nobody else can. But an unstable selfish douche nonetheless.
Ahahahaha that almost deserves its own thread just for the lolz!
That's a real good way of putting it. While I don't think they will even get the chance to bring him back, I hope they don't for one simple reason - I don't think they need him, and if they don't need him than why risk having him causing more problems. I think the most likely scenario as to why he was traded is that he was getting phased out of the offense and they didn't want him causing problems. If that's the reason than what's changed? They're a young team that's becoming a more well rounded team without Moss and I personally don't see a reason to bring him back.
Last time I checked, Mayo wasn't the one making personnel decisions.
This makes no sense because of the way the Patriots do business. All the players and BB arent saying anything bad about him because they know how skilled he is and that its BBs plan to bring him back in 2011? Are you serious man?
Randy became a liability because he wasnt a team player, I am not denying that. What I am saying is that his attitudes have completely changed 180 degrees in Minnesota and is ready to come back to the Pats a changed player, putting the team ahead of himself and doing whatever it takes to win a championship. While you and others may think he is an a-hole, the bottom line is all Moss wants to do is win now and I think that he finally has figured out what he has to do to make that happen
Again, where is the proof of that? The fact he got himself kicked off the Vikings?
Yes. But I do believe mayo was an important aspect of what happened. The lack of good quaility mayo at the Viking lunch is what set Moss off force his being cut.
So you put mayo on your BBQ?Yes. But I do believe mayo was an important aspect of what happened. The lack of good quaility mayo at the Viking lunch is what set Moss off force his being cut.
Moss is still looking for that contract extension. He did not receive one in New England nor Minnesota. The proof is his PC on Sunday. Did you even watch that? What did you take from what he said?

Moss has become "psychologically unstable" this season. It's time to move on!He's doing a pretty poor job making his case for one. Anywhere. Someone needs to sit him down and explain this to him.

Moss sounds like a man who is mentally and emotionally cracking! His whole outburst Sunday was not because of the lack of a contract extension from Minnesota.
Yes I did, and I'm wondering how you get "that his attitudes have completely changed 180 degrees in Minnesota and is ready to come back to the Pats a changed player" from that press conference. It seems to me that is just yet another huge example of him putting himself above his team. It's still the same old Randy but now it's OK because he speaking well of the Patriots.
