Browns coach Eric Mangini still hasn't picked a starting quarterback for Week 9

Jake Delhomme and Seneca Wallace are not practicing Monday as they recover from high ankle sprains.

Rookie quarterback Colt McCoy has looked impressive in two road starts, and remains a possibility to face the Patriots.

I though McCoy was seriously undervalued in the draft, and if I were Cleveland I'd focus on his development.

OMG!!!! This horrible news. Second week in a row the NEP defense has had to attempt to prepare for the game not knowing who the opposing QB would be. How will they ever manage?

Right now Delhomme might be better. But, I think they should give McCoy a shot. Not saying he's the next Tom Brady or P.Manning. Might be the next Drew Brees though. Tough, smart kid from Texas. I've always hated Texas with a passion. But, McCoy seems like a good kid. He should have won the Heisman in 08 and Texas should have played for the national championship. Didn't whine when he didn't get either. I know it's college but his stats that year were amazing. 76.7 comp pct. 34TD 8 INT. Ran for over 500yrd and 11 td's.
Also, look how bad Texas is without him. Dreadfu. 4-4. After playing for national championship last year.

That was a LOONG time ago. Jake is a beaten man.

I personaly think this Cleveland team needs to be taken seriously. They have a fantastic special teams unit and an excellent run game which will help out any QB they start against us. Their defense has got questions but if they put together the right game plan they could give us a run for our money. However I'm glad the Patriots don't prepare like most teams. I know they will prepare against the Browns like they they were getting ready to play Pitt in the afc championship.

No matter the QB I don't think they will underestimate them.

Not to mention that Belichick's Achilles heel is young QBs he hasn't faced before. That could easily factor into Mangini's decision.
