As per Mike Reiss.

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- Safety Patrick Chung and receiver Deion Branch are both listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Vikings, which means they have a 50-50 chance of playing.

Chung injured his knee in last Sunday's win over the Chargers, while Branch was added to the injury report on Thursday. Both were limited in Friday's practice.

In addition, top special teams coverage player Matthew Slater (ankle) and defensive lineman Mike Wright (knee) are also questionable, while as expected, running back Fred Taylor (toe) and safety Jarrad Page (calf) have been ruled out.

The Vikings officially list quarterback Brett Favre (foot, ankle) as questionable, along with cornerback Lito Sheppard (hand).

This is not good at all. I know BB messes with the injury list but questionable means its a real close call and these are two really important players in a game like this one.

Another week with Fred Taylor's wittle toe hurt....................

Branch is going to make me some money, I feel. There's a certain betting ticket which has his over/under on receptions at 5.5. The under should be money, especially with this injury.

I think it is BB's way of messing with Chilly.. a little gamesmanship.. Branch will play!!!

I think Branch definitely plays, not so sure about Chung.

What about Brady? Is his shoulder alright?

While the term turf toe sounds like something an athlete should be able to overcome and not miss any playing time, it's just not the case. It's not unusual for an NFL player to miss an NFL player to miss well over a month due to turf toe, depending on the severity.

I know it sounds like just a minor bruise that one should be able to play through, but that's not the case with this type of injury.

A severe and recurring case of turf toe forced Jack Lambert to retire after making 9 straight pro bowls, so yes a toe injury can seriously mess up even one of the toughest and best players ever.

Is this Tom Brady questionable? Or real questionable?

That's what I worried about in the TRADE. Branch is injury-prone. If he goes down, your offense is in trouble (more than usual). At least Moss played all games, dogging-it or not, he stretched the field to make Welker free.

Tom Brady has been probable on the injury report with a shoulder problem every week since the Civil War started. Go back and check - I'm not kidding.

Brady as usual is listed as probable. Belichick often puts other players down as probable just to confuse teams.

Brady is always on the report, I knew that when I said it. What I meant by saying that is Branch actually injured? Or is it just to confuse. I'd say the same about Chung, but he was noticeably injured.

Correction, Brady was off the injury report a single time. That single time was week 1 of 2008.

So he better be on the report for the rest of his career.
