Is Arrington going to line up against Moss?

I have been thinking all along the McCourty is going to line up against Moss but this article is making it sound like it is definitley going to be Arrington. That's fine because McCourty will just line up with Harvin.

Honestly McCourty-Harvin and Arrington-Moss (plus help) sounds like the way to go. Arrington's physical, which is necessary to beat Moss. He has awful hips, as Roscoe Parrish demonstrated, but better long speed. Harvin would run circles around him.

It's a disaster either way.

You think so? Based on a quote from the herald?

Herald writers are wrong about more things than they are right. I've read some of their stuff and it is really about as bad as you can get.

So because Arrington played pickup ball with moss, Belichick is going to assign him to cover Moss 1:1 ? Right....

Moss's dominant side is on the right, where our #1 CB, Devin McCourty plays. He'll be covering Moss most of the day.

^^ Why would they put out information if it is false? I guess it happens though.

I don't know why, but they do. Like the day before the Pats were in the super bowl, for instance. This is why I don't read the herald. They are just wrong about so much, and the lame contrarian voice is so beaten to death.

I looked at another article that the herald posted today. Some chick Karen Gregarian writes "Childress also said the fact Moss has been occupying two defenders, something Belichick claimed was happening a lot less frequently, has created space for others."

Does anyone recall Belichick saying that? I would think that Reiss and the Globe would have reported that, but I can't recall hearing about this. I could be wrong

If Chung's back you might see him lining up over Moss (with safety help of course). That's what they did vs Brandon Marshall, and it was pretty effective.

We got it all backwards. Belichick does not choose which CB will line up vs. Moss, Brad Childress will choose which CB Moss lines up against.

The Pats run a system with a LCB and a RCB, not a CB1 and a CB2.

I was going to say, I don't think the Pats will move their corners around to keep a particular matchup on Moss.

I tend to agree, though, that McCourty represents a better option than Arrington to line up against Harvin.

We don't have a corner capable of shutting down Moss, so the safeties are going to be critical. Meriweather seems to be rounding into Pro Bowl form at just the right time. He's going to have to play well to help out. Hopefully Chung is healthy too.

I hear Wilfork is going to jam Moss at the line ...

I think that would make the most sense...wasn't Arrington seeing a lot of practice time lined up on Randy?
