I quit on this team today. When the Ravens got the TD to make it 17-7, the way things were looking at that point, I was very close to leaving my computer (internet game feed) and leaving the house to go find something to do. I figured it was about to get ugly. I stuck it out anyway.

What a turnaround. The offense really clicked in the 4th quarter and OT and the defense simply dominated from that point on. It was simply beautiful what this team did today.

My apologies to every member of this team. You showed more heart today than I did, that's for certain. Outstanding job getting this win today.

i was disappointed more in the fans at the stadium who booed because they werent seeing a fantasy offense . maybe i shouldnt because afterall they paid the tickets so if i offend anyone i apologize..but it was really sad..esp when the game was just 3 pts differentital at the half

I don't even care if we are down 4 Touchdowns, I never quit or leave the TV. A lot of people on this board give up too quick.

Likewise... you'd think we'd learn.

Your not the only one, theres a pretty disgusting bunch on this forum. During the game they zoomed in on one of the people Booing. He was some kid in his early twenties, which is what i suspect 85-90% of the whiners here to be.

This what most of the wins in the SB years looked like, close sometimes ugly games won at the end of the fourth quarter.

I almost threw in the towel several times for this game. I've got to admit as much as I've backed this defense, I did not expect them to make all those stops down the stretch and in OT.

Definitely wasn't ready to give up on the season with the encouraging signs on defense and knowing that eventually Brady and company would get things going, but as for this game I totally didn't expect to win at several points.

the Fans pissed me off too booing like they did.
You know it's bad when Simms says " the fans have not been into it today"

If this was a sports movie, we'd all hug or something. Thank goodness it's not.

Things did look ugly, but gotta remember this is a young team, especially on D. There are going to be ugly moments. But each drive, each game, they're learning and getting better.

The 2006/2007 defenses frustrated me because they were trending downwards, but we're fortunate to watch this solid young defense continue to mature before our eyes. It's frustrating at times but we're moving in the right direction.

When the Pats were down 3 and driving, even then I had that feeling that they better get the TD or else the Ravens would be able to get the FG for the win in regulation.

Someone made a great point in another thread. The Ravens had 4 chances to win the game today and didn't even get to attempt a FG. That's fantastic defense.

Last game was a dominating road win against a good team. Excellent second half performance.

Now we have a gutsy to-the-wire OT win against a GREAT team, maybe the best in the league) and a great second half performance. An amazing performance on defense, especially in overtime. I started to feel confident on every play and that sure as hell hadn't been happening to this point.

Anyone who is not feeling happy and hopeful is just looking for a reason to be depressed.

....and someone owes me an apology. For not bringing me an inhaler during OT.

What a game, my god. I'm lucky I didn't lose my lunch. Still feeling a little sick and stressed out tbh, is that pathetic?

Wow tho ... just wow, what a game! Hard earned, my Patriots, hard earned indeed. Tooth and nail for every yard!

In the end, it was clear: we wanted it more.

The lowest point I felt was when Heap made a catch near mid-field and I could easily hear a "Heap" chant. Jeff Rowe on twitter mentioned a few days ago there seemed to be a decent amount of Raven fans in for the game.

STILL...gotta give credit for a large amount of the stadium staying till the end...

Last 2 weeks: Winning on the road. Second half performances. Clutch defense. Beating elite teams.

Those were not the hallmarks of recent Patriots teams.

All signs pointing to positive for this year.

I know, it's like they are answering all the questions about them that have been beaten to death in this forum.

The fans today were pathetic. I hate the Jets, but there fans are way better than ours. Hate to say it, but it's true.

Our team's way better though.

Seriously. The D showed a lot of heart and guts there in the 4th Q and OT. I'm really proud of what they accomplished today. And the scary thing is because of their youth, athleticism, and speed, they can continue to improve and get better. Way to go Pats. Hell of a win against a tough team!

They're louder, I guess. They also like to solicit women to flash them.

That was incredible stuff. The defense was asked to make key stop after key stop against an excellent team, with no margin for error -- and they came through.

Personally, I was never tempted to walk away from this one. (My rare walk-aways are never about giving up hope, they're about getting myself so worked up that I literally fear for my health if I keep watching!)
