Re: Let's Go Chiefs! - Week 5 Early NFL Games Thread

Was KC trying to win this game or just beat the spread?

Re: Let's Go Chiefs! - Week 5 Early NFL Games Thread

Any dual threat offense will kill the colts.

Benjarvus+Welker+Hernandez=thrashing.

Re: Let's Go Chiefs! - Week 5 Early NFL Games Thread

Manning's QB rating: 65.0.

Re: Let's Go Chiefs! - Week 5 Early NFL Games Thread

The Chiefs is what Rodney had said to the Bengals

I disagree. They controlled the run okay and kept KC off the board, which was who they are playing. Besides, I compared them to us. They are better against the run and pass than we are.

I don't know about that. The Chief's offense has been mediocre all year. Cassel sucks. It isn't like they shut down a good offense today.

Re: Let's Go Chiefs! - Week 5 Early NFL Games Thread

Colts and Ravens win, damn.

At least the Texans lost.

Re: Let's Go Chiefs! - Week 5 Early NFL Games Thread

However a lot of positives to take away from this game. You can bet BB is going to take a lot away from this game. There was a lot of different alignments on the DL, a lot of looks that confounded Manning.

Honestly, I think the best thing about this game was how much misdirection, fakes, and feints the offense put on to take advantage of the Colts tendency to overpursue with their speedy one-gappers. That is something I hope we'll copy.

Re: Let's Go Chiefs! - Week 5 Early NFL Games Thread

BTW, the packers are ****ed. Finley had to be carted off, then Donald Lee got hurt, and now Clay Matthews hurt his knee.

Re: Let's Go Chiefs! - Week 5 Early NFL Games Thread

So is the 2001 Patriots way not scoring TDs and making horrible play calls?

Now I won't have to hear about this ****ty team anymore or how they're the new Patriots.

They're not a ****ty team, they're 3-1 and they will give lots of team fits just within their own division. They have a ****ty HC and some glaring holes left to fill like at WR who can catch the damn ball. But guys like you don't even have a clue what you're looking at so why bother posting on a football forum incessantly...

Re: Let's Go Chiefs! - Week 5 Early NFL Games Thread

Fastball?? His arm strength is one of his biggest flaws.

I dunno about that. He can definitely chuck it, from what I've seen. One of his only assets, really.

If they can establish the zone at TE, they will have one hell of a play on the PA Zone in 21 personnel. Deep read Tate, mid range Hernandez. Six.

You're usually smarter than that.

And let's not forget the Colts' suckitude on ST. I almost expect a return TD at this point.

Oh WOW! What a god damn accomplishment. They play ******* close games with teams in their division, what a rarity. This isn't a good team, good teams make the playoffs. Are you saying they're making the playoffs? What will their final record be?

They beat the 49ers, Browns and a close game against a divisional rival riding off the steam of a hyped up Monday Night Crowd. This team isn't doing **** this year or any time in the near future.

You don't post anything to back up your posts, just "OMG U GUYZ DONT KNOW WHAT UR TALKING ABOUT LOLOL CHIEFS R GOOD". Cut the ****. If you think the Chiefs are a good team your posting privileges should be suspended.

Nah. He needs to watch tape of Aaron Rodgers, and learn how to cobble together a dangerous passing game, while constantly running for your life...when your WR's can't catch the damn ball.

Fixed that for ya.

Yours and a handful of others should be suspended just on principle...

Looks like accuracy is the problem.

Re: Let's Go Chiefs! - Week 5 Early NFL Games Thread

Ummmmmm Fox can you go to the packers game please

Re: Let's Go Chiefs! - Week 5 Early NFL Games Thread

Looks like accuracy is the problem.

This is true, but he rarely had more than 2.5 seconds to pass, and his recievers definitley did NOT help his cause. Hands. Of. Stone.

Re: Let's Go Chiefs! - Week 5 Early NFL Games Thread

Yeah, I mis-typed that one. I meant 12, my bad. Although...thinking about it...I bet 21 would work damn well, too. It looks to me like Morris is slowing down a bit, and could find a nice role at fullback. He gives you some options there as well to flex out and do some different stuff. I dunno. Just thinking out loud.
