Re: Cromartie agrees: Moss slacked off against Jets

Right, again Moss was bored and decided to just stop trying Brady is too perfect to ever make a bad decision or throw.

Oh, right. Brady was just making one of his numerous bad throws Moss is too perfect to ever get bored and stop trying.

I don't agree with them. Cromartie is one of my favorite corners in the league, but he is dumb as a bag of rocks.

BTW - Cromartie is every bit as fast as Moss or any other WR in the league. Why do people think Moss should just blow right past him?

Who cares?

I mean the guy is not on our team anymore, don't let the door hit you on the way out Randy!

I can't stand spoiled millionaires who only think of themselfs and their future, I'm gald he is gone and now Brady will throw too the open guy rather then the *****y WR who's ego is off the hook.

The Jet's are right, he's a slouch, you know why R.Moss will never be J.Rice even if he breaks his records???

I fault the game plan on this one. It's been obvious since 2008 that Moss is no spring chicken. I said last year he needs to be on the field less and I said it again this year. Like a reliever rolled out to the mound for too many games I believe Moss was overused.

Not complaining ... but if he was content ... with that assumption I think he would have been extremely productive if he was on the field for 1/2 of the offensive snaps.

Just saying ... he could have actually caught more balls on less plays I believe. But I accept we are moving in a divergent direction ... there is more than one way to skin a cat.

I wonder how you feel about Randy Moss. Please let us know later.

Yes it is a highlight film for the ages but the reason Moss got so behind the best corner in football is because Revis was expecting help from the Jim Leonhard over the top, it was actually a blown coverage but who cares, great last TD by Moss as a Pat.

Some people discard facts that don't suit their point.

This is why Cromartie covered Moss so well ... Antonio is more athletic than Moss right now.

Are you suggesting Brady makes no bad throws? I am definitely suggesting that Moss does NOT get bored and does NOT stop trying. He does make mistakes, he surely makes bad reads, he gets alligator arms at times over the middle, he dropped a few passes this year he should have caught, he's a very bad blocker but he does not simply stop trying.

I will and plz type back nothing of relevance to the conversation!

Here is something of relevance. You are exactly like a big percentage of Jets fan, its why we laugh at them so much. They are haters who don't know their arse from their elbow. They don't ever respect what a player has done in his career. Hell they don't even respect players that had record breaking seasons with them when they move to another team.

You see thats what you just did in your previous post. Learn to have a bit of respect for great players unless they are Jets of course then its ok.

There are too many of these haters today, they were spoiled rotten by the run of Superbowls and the unbeaten regular season. They never had to sit in a freezing cold Foxboro Stadium just hoping their team didn't get embarrassed.

Not sure who you're responding to, but I don't get it either. It's pretty common knowledge that Moss has been known to give up. It's common knowledge amongst fans, opposing CB's, opposing defensive coordinators, and opposing coaches. It's about as solid a fact in the league as you're going to find and it's been known since 1999, the year after he came into the league.

As for the comment on the throw, it was off. As simple as that. Rodak even noted that if the throw was a little more accurate, Moss had a chance to make an athletic catch. But, as it stands, it was off. Both players have fault in that game.

I was responding to the guy above me (emoney?) using his exact sentence structure and just flipping players.

No, I'm not suggesting Brady doesn't make bad throws. I don't think a QB of his caliber makes NUMEROUS bad throws. But Emoney, I used your wording and sentence structure and flipped the names. You got out of it that I was saying Brady NEVER makes bad throws. Is it such a terrible stretch to believe one could get "Randy Moss never gets bored/takes plays off" from YOUR post? What's good for the goose is good for the gander. Or something.

The only reason I have some creedance to these allegations by Revis and Cromartie is because Cromartie has been beaten like a rented mule all season. The only other WR he has had success against this season with Lee Evans and that was more because Fitzpatrick was confused and befuddled by the Jets' front seven more than Cromartie blanketing Evans.

Cromartie will likely be on Moss again Monday and we will see how they do vs. each other. I am betting Moss is far more successful this time around.

It is hard for me to believe there is even discussion on this Cromartie comment. While there may be some shred of truth in it, truth was never its purpose.

This is just more in the consistent pattern of Ryan pre-game strategy: select a team member for a press comment in an attempt to throw the next opponent off their mental game.

It isn't even worth the e-ink it was written in.

who cares what that d-bag thinks......way too much attention is being given to the jests these days.

Watch the plays. Rather than blindly defending Moss, watch the plays. I did, the day after the game. Before studying the plays, I blamed Brady, afterward it was clear the fault belonged to Moss.

Then you just havent been watching.
In fact, he PURPOSELY loafs at times to play possum with the defender. Thats been Moss' unique ability, that he can kick it into gear when the ball comes his way and he lulls the DB to sleep by not running 100% when the ball isnt coming his way. Problem is this year he gave up giving 100% when the ball did come his way. Watch the Jets 2nd half. Hard to watch anything after that because Brady lost trust in him and barely threw him the ball after that.
Its all pretty clear if you try to be objective.

Exactly every receiver ha dominated him this year except Moss am I to believe that Houshmanzadeh, Marshall, Welker, T.O., Hernandez are all faster than Moss because all have beaten him on straight Go routes. Which gives credence to what Cromartie is saying.
