Hey I might be in the hide sharp objects crowd too except I have actually watched Moss' weak effort this year, and also think WRs are overrated, but above think that the w/l record does the talking.

Actually coined by Rick Pitino, who not coincidentally caused a lot of the misery by trading practically the whole team when he arrived, including a few pretty serviceable NBA players (it was an awful team).

Rick was great with the quotes. To paraphrase, BB made it clear this season that McGinest, Bruschi and Vrabel aren't coming through that door!

Ohm, I have no problems with critical examinations, provided they are presented with some sort of evidenciary support. That goes for Patriots pro- & con posts. You do a good job with those.

My chief complaint is the number of "we're DOOMED!" comments and threads that sprout like weeds after even the most innocuous of events.

My main problem with a few of the members in here is some are all rah,rah about a player until they are cut or traded then we hear from the same members of how much they really sucked,were bad news for the team or were not worth the roster spot.

You can't do that IMO,stick with your opinion no matter whether they are in New England,Minnesota or anywhere else

The season is over we just traded away our #4 reciever (in terms of receptions this season) and you want to discuss something as meaningless as our W-L record. What are you going to mention next that we are tied with the best record in the AFCE? Or that if the playoffs were held today we would be in as a wildcard team?
