Exactly.
One of those receivers hasn't even been healthy enough to suit up yet. Which receiver hasn't been healthy enough to suit up yet???
Our offensive production just went down. What's funny is it's 4 weeks into the ****** season and we decide we're good enough without Moss? Lets see how open everyone gets now. Like I said before.
Welker is like 60%, Edelman has been a ghost, Tate is ineffective in the passing game so far. So what made him comfortable enough to move Moss? They looked fine all game to me, and after his outburst, his team didn't look distracted at all. If this is over an argument with Bil O' Brien, my lord. Up until now, Edelman was the 4th receiver and Price the 5th. Not sure how you can say that Tate has been ineffective in the Passing game when his stats are almost identical to Moss'
To people saying Moss hasn't won any superbowls..He should have one, one season he had no Brady, last season he had no defense, and this year? Guess what, Bill O Brien hasn't proven he's valuable as a coach, not even close like Randy has proved his value. This team didn't look distracted to me monday night. Also, if Randy had those great Patriot defenses, he would have a super bowl.
Any intelligent person knows that Moss can't win a SB by himself. They also know that Moss wasn't to blame for 2007 and that the reference has been taken out of context.
As for Monday night, can you say with certainty that Randy wasn't distracted on the fake by Brady at the end of the half? I can't.
These Patriot teams dont have those defenses, we needed Moss this season, period. This isn't a performance based move, this is a move made out of anger by Belichick. It also hurts the team. And also, people act like we just got fair value or something. For goodness sakes we've seen O'Connel and Crable come out of the 3rd round lately and people think this pick will help them? Your happy to get a solid contributor at best of a 3rd rounder, that's not fair value for what Moss could've helped this team accomplish this season.
Your claim that this is an "anger based move" by Belichick has no foundation. It's pure BS speculation on your part. In fact, there are 3 reports out there that say that this move was forced by Randy because of Randy's actions towards the coaches and Patriots Management.
You can only say that this hurts the team if you can actually see the future. I don't believe you can.
I'm gonna laugh when BB trades down and everyone's freaking out. Once this team struggles, half the people defending this move will be the same ones saying BB struggles at putting talent on the team. This move gets rid of a lot of talent, for a draft pick with less than %50 of a chance to stick around and have the same productive run Moss had for us.
