Last season is Week 2 versus this season in Week 2, we'll see the same teams (Pats and Jets) play in NY. But virtually everything leading into this game has been flipped around.

2009: Jets were lovable loser team with a new head coach and rookie quarterback with no expectations.
2010: Jets are the league's most reviled team with their chest thumping and self-imposed Super expectations

2009: Patriots had tremendous pressure to win every game, believing Brady could revert to 2007 form
2010: Patriots were picked by virtually no pundits to be a serious contender this season and have been completely under the radar

2009: Patriots limped into the game with several key injuries, including Wes Welker (coming off a pro bowl season) and Jerod Mayo (coming off of an DROY season)
210: Patriots are very healthy, while the Jets lose Kris Jenkins for the season and have some questions about Darelle Revis' hamstring

2009: Mark Sanchez is the modest messiah of the Jets, having fun playing the game and coming off a fantastic rookie performance vs. Houston. Arguably his best NFL performance.
2010: Sanchez is quickly growing a reputation as an arrogant, uncoachable, thin-skinned QB who lacks the ability to succeed in the NFL. Coming off arguably his worst NFL performance, at least from expectations standpoint.

2009: Patriots cut several veterans, including Kevin O'Connell, who are plucked up by the Jets and trotted out as team captains
2010: Jets cut Danny Woodhead, who is picked up by the Patriots

2009: Rex Ryan modestly calls fans to support the Jets, proclaiming that he has less wins than BB has Super Bowls and that this .
2010: Rex Ryan assures fans that the Jets will win the Super Bowl, constantly talks about how great the team is, and proclaims his team the AFC East favorite

I agree, but I wouldn't say the Pats are "very healthy", with Bodden, Warren, and McGowan all out. I'm not sure how I feel about the Patriots suddenly becoming the favorites of the media again.

No one on our active roster is expected to the miss the game, except for maybe Edelman. Those guys you mentioned aren't just "out," they're not really members of 2010 Patriots. No one is expecting them on the field this year.

Yeah, but you could say the same thing for Jenkins. You know who I am glad is going to be playing tomorrow? Antonio Cromartie.

You know who I am glad is going to be playing tomorrow? Mark Sanchize - he could win the game for the Pats all by himself.

i think the pressure is still on the pats to win. everyone expects them to win vs sanchize and if they dont there will be more questions

I'll be waiting for a pick-6.

Another difference:

2009: Pats barely squeak out a win over a team they should have beat easily.
2010: Pats trounce a team many pundits felt would beat them.

You and everyone with a daughter of childbearing age.

The questions about Revis hamstring, are what they are questions.. would not be surprised if it is all a big smokescreen to divert attention away from an anemic offense and the deficits of Cromartie and Wilson..

Do not be surprised if Revis is at full strength, with no obvious shortcoming...
