Belichick: Crable could return

Crable did win a Black Shirt this past week. It is given to the player or players who did most for the victory. Its tough to get for a guy on the PS. He had to have been a great player on the scout team, to do it.

Yep, Crable's name leapt out at me on the practice players of the week. That doesn't sound like a guy with a bad work ethic -- or a guy who has let the discouragement of a demotion get the best of him.

3 weeks ago when asked if maroney can help this team he said "Absolutely". so...

I wonder what he would bring that Murrell didn't.

I'm really more pleased that Cunningham is on the field. After missing most of camp and all of preseason, I didn't expect him to see the field for weeks. I doubt Crable gets promoted, unless an OLB goes does down. Boy would that suck

Well technically we did lose an OLB. We only have 3 now. Be interesting to see if it's Murrell or Crable that's brought up to the regular roster.

Remember the Broncos play the Raiders twice

Crable's athletic as hell. If that shirt award means anything, he could sure help. He's not been IRed because he lacked talent. Hopefully he's been in the weight room too.

Can't see why we need another RB, we could pick a 4th off the waiver wire.

Wow, Belichick is patient. He's giving Crable every chance. Unfortunately I suspect that Crable is what he is.

You are on to something! BB being the trader that he is that could well have played a role in the deal

Note that Crable did NOT get anything but the minimum for Practice Squad players, while four others received more.

Where is the link comparing & contrasting Sean Crable & Adam Seward?

It looks like BB is bringing someone up for this weekend, my guess is someone to play STs.

He could return!

And I could become Tom Brady's #2, but I'm never going to be

waiting for my man, The Crab, to scuttle out from under the PS and claw his way onto the 53. Maybe by mid season?

With only 3 OLBs on the roster and the reports of James' promotion proving premature, I'm going back to my thinking of Crable making the 53.

If Crable has ST value, it'd be a no brainer. He has 3 years in our system, injured or not, he still has a little upside at OLB in a 3-4 due to his physical makeup. But we don't really know if he can play ST at this point, do we?
