Trading up in the 2nd

It is scary how far he is falling, but you could say the same thing about Maualuga, Laurinitis, and Barwin. They all turned out fine.

None of them fell b/c of medical issues the way Kindle appears to be falling. If that's the main issue I wouldn't be surprised if he fell into round 3.

I'm with you.

And now that word is trickling out that Kindle has ADD & requires tricky knee surgery along with the previously reported concussions and narcolepsy, we probably have a lot of company.

Seriously, I feel for the kid -- that's a lot of challenges to deal with at a young age, and the possibility of losing out on a football career that seemed so full of promise is a real shame.

Kindle has the worst kind of cartilage damage which takes him off the Pats board altogether imo. The injury has been reported on multiple sites including NFP and Rivals . com.

You are not alone. Mayoclinic has included him in his bedside prayers tonight.

Hahah, if you look at another thread I actually said I was going to bed praying to God (and I did) that we'd take Dunlap. MayoClinic was actually the one who really turned me onto him months ago.

Mayo takes the wrong medications, that's why he likes Dunlap.

I'd prefer NE treat round two like round one targeting the same type of player they go after in round one. I don't want any round two projects at this point (Dulap, Benn). I want as near a sure thing as NE can land.

The only trade up target from the short list would seem to be DL Brian Price, assuming NE is looking for more 40 fronts.

We grabbed Devin McCourty in the first with pick number 27. McCourty gives us depth in the secondary which we need (Not as much as D-Line). Think back to when we had Asante Samuel and we dominated. Of course our D-Line was better, but McCourty will help us against the Good WRs now in the AFC east and also dominate on Special Teams.

We have some more picks later on after trading back in the first. Carlos Dunlop, Sergio Kindle, Ricky Sapp, Terrence Cody and other D-Line are still available. Should we trade up and grab Kindle who we were thought to draft in the first anway? If we can get one of those guys we upgrade the defensive front and the secondary instantly. There are plenty of TEs we can grab later on and we can also use the other 2nd on a WR. Golden Tate is still available aswell. I am also disspointed to see Jahvid Best gone because he was a player the Pats could use but we can get a good RB in Hardesty, Gerhart or Blount. No need to lose sleep over our first round choice until we see how the rest of the draft turns out. BB is not a moron as some are saying and I believe he has some people in mind. What are your thoughts?

I know a lot of people are thinking Sapp or Dunlap, but I really like Neshiam better.

I am hoping McCoy falls to Buffalo in the second so we can have a shot at Mt. Cody. (If BB can draft a 6th CB in the first round, he can take a 2nd NT in the second round.)

I would not be surprised if BB does not take a RB in this draft. But I would be shocked if we do not get a WR tonight.
