Now this is relevant because we're talking in almost every thread about the AFCE getting better all around us. The debates on vet acquisitions vs. draftees, the jump from year one to year two for last year's rookies, and the mystery guys who've yet to hit the field in a serious way (Tate, McKenzie, Crable). So we don't have a great bead on how much better our team could be without a lot of change, really.
It's easiest for us to make guesses on appreciable vet pick-up's because we have an idea of how they play and what they're capable of.
Lombardi talks about Ben being available for the right offer and mentions Buffalo in his short list of teams that might whip out that #1 pick for a Ben-test.
I think the guy is over-rated on the field, but there's no doubt he's one of the luckiest QB's on the planet and can find ways to win.
How would you feel about this guy entering the division?
Another upside would be that since Buffalo is almost entirely peopled with prostitutes, he'd be more likely to stay out of trouble.
