Certainly visually pleasing.

Certainly visually pleasing.

It is pretty, isn't it?

Good, solid mock, IMO. The one pick that really gives me pause is Dez Bryant to Denver.

If Haden were available at 19 (although I think that's improbable) I would hope we move up a mere 3 spots to get him. While CB is not a glaring weakness on this team, you can't ignore his talent and value this late in rd 1

I was thinking the same thing, but then I realized that with brandon marshall continuously up in the air, at worst it gives them a dynamic 1-2 punch at WR... And at best provides them the flexibility to move marshall if he becomes a problem and still have a good WR corps. Moving marshal first and then crossing your fingers in the draft seems more of a questionable move.

A mock without trades is a mockery onto itself. Of course a mock with trades becomes a lot more difficult and time consuming.

I certainly agree with the visual appeal aspect. Though I'd prefer to see the actual images as opposed to the URLs.

Edit - I just realized that in IE these images are showing up properly, but in Firefox they show up as URLs. Still I choose to use Firefox.

Yeah, for me it isn't the position so much as the personality. Adding another WR with maturity question marks that high in the draft seems like playing with fire.

Great Job Bakes!!:rocker:

I am so on the fence about Ordrick. He is the classic boom or bust prospect and I fear that he will be the latter.

I use IE and all I see is a chunky major mass of URLs and players, all in a huge font.

I couldn't agree less. He seems to be the solid-workmanlike, non-flashy variety. Now a guy like Carrington, there's a boom-or-bust.

I'm using Firefox, and I have no issues with the images. They're all nice helmets. Maybe you've changed your settings?

Bakes: nice effort, though I'm a little unsure on a few of the picks. I realize this is version one, though, so I'll hold off scrutiny until version two.

It seems 99% of mocks have us taking Odrick with #22 now.

I have yet to see the Jets mocked to take anyone but Tate.

I hope neither happen!

thanks lol that will be coming in a couple weeks so stay tuned

I intend to include a 2nd round shortly.

IMO the Broncos will deal Marshall. Dez Bryant's character concerns are minor and with Brandon being a vet he's a lot more stubborn & resistant to coaching.

While Haden did improve his 40 on his pro day there are still questions about his technique.

I like the mock. I can't see the Dolphins taking McClain after they just signed Dansby, but with Parcells you never know. It will probably be Kindle or Bryant at their pick.

Round 2
44 New England Patriots Austen Lane DE Murray St

Wow. Do not like the second round. If there's a more over-rated player on this board than Austin Lane, I'm not sure who it is. He's a 7th round gamble/priority free agent in my book.

I don't see Calloway as a fit here either...too stiff....and at least two rounds too early.

McCluster's OK, but I don't think he's a second round value...especially with Best/Gilyard still on the board.

Great effort, we'll just agree to disagree.

People are probably wondering where is Dwyer and Matthews well my thinking there is that the NFL is steering more towards the smaller backs and that the big backs with a lot of mileage coming into the league will suffer for it. Just too much $ to invest on a position that likely won't even be healthy to the end of his 1st contract.
